WAIT THIS IS A TRUE STORY??? Damn I feel bad for the kid now😭😭😭 And I think I have a small theory: The child(MC) smiled at the end because he had hated his mother deeply for a long time, so he saw his mother dying and he was happy, unlike his sister, Sakiko, she loved her mother so deeply she had told Mister to kidnap them, which who probably also occurred the same childhood/experience as MC and Sakiko, which he killed his mother eventually and after MC’s mother had lashed out on Mister, he had PTSD and he had killed her, but he never meant to actually kill her on purpose, so he covered his head and ran away, maybe a sign that he did it because it was his first instinct Mister wasn’t actually a bad person as Sakiko said, he had a bad childhood and his mother had anger issues, which caused her to abuse him unintentionally which she regretted and that explained the note, she was disappointed in herself and tried to find mister, who killed her as in the first cutscene, after that, he suffered from PTSD but he was a nice guy, never meant any harm, Sakiko trusted him but MC’s mother however, thought herself as the *only one* who could do anything with her children, which she probably was the bad mother here, so she decided to scold Mister and triggered him In the last scene as I explained, MC deeply hated his mother so he was calm and smiled about seeing her die in front of him, Sakiko loved her mother deeply, opposite of MC, she had cried about seeing her mother die in front of her Either ways, the story is still sad and I think it’s sadder that it’s actually based on true events, which I feel bad for the kids involved within the true events that had happened :(

I have a theory, I think Renya smiled at the end out of jealousy? Due to his sister being so ignorant (He probably wanted mom to die because he was tired from her blabbering. Just like how the kidnapper dude felt at the first part of the game). If you remember correctly, when Renya and his sister had a small conversation at 7:38. There was an option that spoke "I'm okay with just the two of us" implying that he does not care if mother isn't coming back. At the end of the conversation, he said "But, I'm here too sis" meaning all he wanted was his sister's attention.

there’s a part in the story (and I’m not sure if Jake saw it or not) but apparently the mister in the story was Sarao, the kid we were in 1st person as in the prologue. It was the same house, and the same hammer he used to unalive his own mother because of mistreatment I think (or out of spite)? He then stuffed her body in the attic (which was the ghost in the jumpscare), and that’s what made him mentally ill I believe:)

this was definetly the weakest of the chillas art games didnt make much sense but im assuming mother abused her son, he killed her with the hammer and was trigged by the mother shouting killed their mother and the mc has been so worn down by his mother leaving, his sister leaving, stealing, being forced to be in some guys house, seeing a dead body already and maybe nightmares about clowns that he just kinda snapped like the guy and its a cycle of abuse story. I assume the clown is because clows are scary to kids and everyone in school keeps spreading the story like when youre a kid and turn of the light and bolt it upstairs cause you feel like somethings chasing you. the sister being abused by the mother wants the mothers aproval so she studies hard for good grades but isnt met with praise so she keeps pushing herself believing something is wrong with her and not that her mother is horrid, its easy to fall in yourself especially since the sister looks 13-15ish very vunrable i assume she met the guy due to him approching her and they trauma bonded i think mister is not mentally there because of the abuse maybe he has the mind of a child and is stuck in that age he was when he killed his mother thats why he wanted to play with the kids. this story couldve been excuted better, definently a weak one.

I find that on the contrary this game is very well done because in itself everything you said in your paragraph is literally what happens in the game and I find it well executed even if the sister's action is really completely crazy and I would have thought of something other than the sister, like the mother trying to get rid of them and then there would be a good ending where the sister realizes the mother was neglectful and the two end up in a loving foster home would have been a better scenario for me. Because there is actually no good ending

ok so I have questions. Too many questions. Who was the clown guy? Or is he the mister afterall? Where did their mom leave for so long? Who paid their utility bills? Why did they not take the trash out? I understand how the sister might have been mentally exhausted so yeah but the sis was delusional af. How did the sister meet this "mister"? Why did Renya (the mc) not report the dead body to the police? What happened to the siblings after their mother was killed? There are a couple more things I'm confused about but that's probably bc of the plot holes and like things were just hastily put together in this game. But ngl the graphics in Chilla's Art games really improved a lot. This game was so sad throughout, it was hard to watch.🥲 Still I enjoyed the video so much. Thanks Jake!! You're the best and my comfort streamer and I love watching you play horror games❤. Also, belated Halloween!
