I've been trying to find this skit for more than 10 years now, and for whatever reason I could not find it until today when my friend sent it to me. This feels like the urtext for the Dr Evil monologue from Austin Powers. In fact I'd bet Mike Myers was inspired by it seeing as how he was canadian and must have known the KITH through Lorne at least. "The only way I can c*m is to be hit by a bus" is maybe the funniest line I've ever heard
@ryandaniszewski39132 жыл бұрын
You should watch the documentary on KITH that just released on Amazon. Not only did Mike Myers perform with them at the Revoli, he said one of his dreams as a young comedian was to be a member of the Kids in the Hall. Funny enough, that would have been before either of them met Lorne.
@marsneedstowels2 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing you mean the Dr. Evil childhood speech, and yea I could see why you'd think they're similar, and with the Michaels connection but this is probably one of those interesting coincidences.

Sometimes I wonder strange things. I look at the people in the background, on the right, and I wonder what became of their lives. Were they actors, or just friends/relatives used for the skit? They look so.... boring... I wonder if they led boring lives or went on to more exciting things. Was this the highlight of their lives or just a blip on the radar? Sometimes I look at "background" people and I wonder at their lives.
