I realize decades later that this skit was also an impersonation of some gay actors in Hollywood. Also the line about "a woman not wanting to be with a f*g unless she's already married to one". Was meant to be a tell-all that many gay men were married two women.

This is something I like about Scott's sketches. Yes, they are occasionally uncomfortable but they contain an element of truth to most if not all of them. They generally are done with good humor and a sense of self-mockery and not this PC-nonsense that's ruined comedy over the last quarter-century. The best surreal KITH sketches generally have either Scott or Bruce in them. No knocks against the other guys, btw. Simon and Hecubus are my favorite recurring KITH characters, I like Buddy Cole, Chicken Lady, and the Keeper of Empty Promises. My favorite KITH sketch? Probably "The Trappers." VERY, VERY surreal...

The ending doesn't make a lot of sense to me. AIDS was still a fairly young virus in 1990, but even then it was widely known that heterosexuals could get it and die from it.

Scott went into detail about aids in an interview I watched a while ago ("your mom's house" I think it was called). He mentioned that for all the sex and crazy stuff that would happen in the Gay community and the like, he actually didn't have that many lovers during the show's heyday because of how afraid he was of aids. He mentioned that in a period of something like three years tons of people he knew just disappeared because of the aids epidemic.
