Each person’s “perception” of reality can be closer or further from the truth. Believing in ANYTHING blindly is so dangerous. Including religion. If there is a God, it isn’t asking you to just do what the Bible says. It would ask you to 1. see the truth (whatever that is), and 2. act accordingly so that humanity moves towards progress. What started off as a nice food vid short turned into a question, "Why so much?" Then a "Lunch box idea for the kids" and then I turn teary when I see the Childrens hospital 😢 I'm an adult.. i've been a patient of that hospital for how many years when i was young because of my nephrotic syndrome. birthday, christmas, i was there. lucky enough my family was able to support my medical needs up to my kidney biopsy,,, i've seen a lot of other kids there with the same case as mine but on the charity ward and waiting for my excess meds so they would get treated also. thank you for making them a food with love ❤

When I was still a student nurse in the Philippines, we had a clinical rotation for neurology at NCH, a government hospital for children. I can still remember a very poor father, looking quietly at his baby with hydrocephalus. I could feel his pain. He didn't say a word. He couldn't even afford to buy a diaper. I learned from the nurses that families were waiting for donations. From that time, I promised to go back there to help even one patient. I haven't had a chance to return and help, but since I'm in the US, I'm donating to St. Jude. I hope next year I can visit the National Children's Hospital and fulfill my promise.

During covid times, most of my friends are nurses. I cooked for them. They we're so tired when they get home that they only get shower and straight to bed. They're so tired to cook for themselves. So, i cooked for them, put them in a container and messaged tgem to pick thier foods on their way home from work. Im carer of my son who has autism, so, i stayed at home with my son on those times. It feels great helping others. God bless you more, hope they're more people like you out there. ❤

Naalala ko bigla ang National Children’s hospital.. dyan ako nagpa gamot nung bata pa ako.. 3 yrs old nung na diagnose ako na may leukemia.. 6 months ang taning sa akin.. pero hindi sumuko mga magulang kaya nabuhay ako.. 7 yrs old cancer free na ako.. ngayon 37 yrs old na ako.. god bless sau! Napasaya mo ang mga bata👍
