@@sojournertrust7796 I agree both of you. Been in that situation. Grow up so fast. Until now it didn't get away from my head what I've been through. But it's okay, some part of my life change a lot never expected or dreaming about but the fact that to survive in this world you really have to push hard to be able to survive( except for the people who are born rich☺️). And it came to a point that having another human being to go through all of it again is unbearable for me. 🙏🕊️❤️

British Hajnos, do you think it is "good" that these children know deprivation and accept it because there is no remedy? I don't! Hungry and poverty stressed children have every reason to complain and to blame our entire society for their cruel treatment. Children are the MOST precious thing. They are our treasure and our future. It is up to us, every single one of us, to make certain that every child has good food and enough of it. They need good clothing, education, shelter and love. We have failed to provide for our children and for every child, not just our own. Frankly, I don't think any society that puts less value on the life and health of one child from birth than another deserves to survive. Your blessing is valueless. Absolutely valueless to a hungry child or one that does not get a very good education. The child cannot eat your blessings and without proper education they will never be able to improve their life. It is much more helpful if you stop praying and blessing children and help them by changing this awful system that handicaps them at an early age.

Even kids in public schools in Sao Paulo, Brazil get free meals, breakfast, and lunch apart from uniforms and school materials. The fact that some kids go hungry to school in such a wealthy country is mind-boggling, to be honest.

Because in a lot of countries the wealth is not divided among the population in a fair way. Wages are kept low and unions are kept out so workers have no rights and can not fight. The country does not spent a sufficient amount of money on a safety net. The rich and companies pay too little tax to the rest of the country. That means that almost all the wealth is hold by 10 to 20% of the population. In a country like the US the total yearly income goes for around 75% to the top 20% richest people.

And they are purposely doing this. While crying they can't get people to work for them. How do you expect people you cannot or will not work for you to show up when working for you is making them homeless. Taking away the time needed to deal with social services because you cannot or won't pay for benefits. You keep politically supporting the people who are denying you what you want. You buy property for income and complain because your employees cannot afford on your wages to rent from you. No healthcare means unplanned pregnacies. irresponsible breeding, hungry children. The pandemic for many taught a lot of the working poor how to adapt to a life of poverty. Having to work for wages that won't pay the bills seems a waste. This is the society you created. So stop complaining..

And its pretty competitive here..if u pass school u have to go to college and parents sole aim is to get them as much higher studies as they can. At least I was fortunate to live in a smaller town that organized to pick up food donation from local stores. Everyday you can go to the Kitchen for lunch. For me, it helped me gain access to fresh food when my budget got tight. Especially in the Winter. It pains me to see good food piled up in grocery stores that so many people can't afford. I am also disturbed, that some daycares lie about the food they serve to children. Parents are not even aware of this to help where they can. Food banks, could help but it depends on competent directors and honest business practices.

8 years ago I went from a nurse working 40-60 hours to disabled and unable to work do to a rare nervous system disorder called CRPS. It has crippled me and at 38 I could no longer even stand without a Walker and sometimes had to use an electric wheelchair to get around. I sit upright in 30-60 minute increments and have to lay back with my legs up to help relieve as much pain as possible…….. during the beginning it took 2 years of fighting to get disability. I had to swallow my pride and go to a food bank to get a little help. Unfortunately much of what you get at this place was unhealthy snack like foods. We used all the canned items up trying different low cost recipes. We went into a ton of debt just to keep roof over our heads, kids fed and clothed, ect. My husband works and we don’t have newer cars or an extravagant house and “play toys” we grow as much as we can in our garden every year. We’ve adjusted, made it through the toughest patch (hopefully) and are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I feel horrible for these families especially when some ARE doing as much as possible. The single dad family really broke my heart. These young people are so experienced to life’s difficultly as such a young age and have the most beautiful personalities and are just so humble for what they have. God Bless any family going through this 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️

I think these families are beyond hiding their struggles. How should they? If there is no food and you just cannot get anything... I also read that electricity is more expensive for those on benefits. They sometimes house them in places you have to put coins in to keep electricity running.

Sounds like u were cut out from your family not knowing anything about the real situation. It is quite a cruel way to raise children. Cos children feel that smght is not right, and with no any proper answers, they just worry even more. They can start to blame themselves or even worse start to think that parents don't love them. Children can't enjoy their childhood when they sense a white lie. It just doesn't work that way.

Right? 😭❤️ Like how resilient, adaptable, understanding and compassionate they are... absolutely amazing youngins. I pray their situation improves and they stand the test of life and time end grow up to be such lovely people. I hope they don't lose that spark...as somewhat of a privileged child growing up in the sense that I never went hungry, had a nice home to live in with a decent sized bedroom for myself - didn't have to share with any siblings, and my father retained great healthcare for our family due to having a wonderful job in skilled trades at Ford Motor Co until I was 25 years old ♥️ I struggle with my anxiety and depression as well as scoliosis. I opened up this video feeling sorry for myself, interested to see what it beholds. I needed to see this. Made me remember no matter how hard your life is, someone always is struggling harder than you. Which, doesn't invalidate your own struggles... but, it reminds us to count our blessings and the things we don't have to jump through hoops to obtain like food, shelter, etc. I work with children every day as a Registered Behavior Technician. I have seen families who are currently poor having to share a hotel room with a family of six, and one child will have a developmental disability such as Autism. The amount of stress for the child with Autism, as well as the family in such close quarters to someone who is audibly stressed therefore, as much as you love them, it can be very trying to keep calm. So many different things can set off triggers for them, and in such a confined space with so many people just trying to get by...I imagine it being extremely hard. I wish I could invite all of the children over for a movie night at my apartment. I'd make so many treats and appetizers, cook a wonderful meal, and send them home with food, household items like toiletries and such for the rest of their family as well. Edit: OH! AND they can raid my closet and take any clothes, books, decorations, blankets, pillows... anything they like or would find useful. I have an abundance so I donate frequently to shelters and food banks.

Had no food and went to local welfare office for food stamps (not looking for cash). Was told we had voluntarily left our last jobs and were penalized for 6 months. *I had not known I was pregnant until about 2 weeks after moving. **My husband and I had been hard workers and paid our own way. ***All this was happening as the country had a slogan NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. I used to say what child? Not my child(ren). I gave birth to a full term baby weighing 3lbs. 15oz. He was considered an SGA baby. (Small for gestational age). My ex and I didn’t have Medicaid for six mos because I wouldn’t pay the health insurance premium through my minimum wage job (that would’ve covered nothing anyway as these policies are a joke) and then “get reimbursed” from the county. I’d had experience with this type of deal before being a landlord for a short time and having section 8 tenants. Something always happened so that even when you finally did get any sort of a payment, always very very late, it was small partial amounts. I could not afford to pay these health insurance premiums in any way shape or form. I decided that I could not risk the very real possibility of becoming homeless when my rent didn’t get paid as we lived on the very thin edge, everything budgeted to the last dime and we would just not have Medicaid as they covered the children. So the state taxpayers were safe those six mos from the scourge of helping 2 ppl who chose their kids’ safety over their own possible needs 🤦‍♀️

@@kenyonbissett3512 WIC is income based and only covers a very supplemental food array for at risk persons, pg and bfing women & babies and small kids. It would not feed a family. It DOES help but as part of a sufficient food plan, either the family’s wages and/or food stamps. I wonder why they were told they had been left without work voluntarily?? They had made rational decisions based on facts like any other worker or workers that change jobs, even moving out of the state to secure these jobs, which much have been very much better to do so. The economy falling apart was not their problem yet they were the ones penalized. As usual. And so then the taxpayers were saddled with a person, the newborn, who potentially could have devastating and lifelong medical, educational & mental needs. Good call on that one, taxpayers 🤦‍♀️

They arent unrealistic , they're aware of the struggle and despite all of that, they don't let it bring them down. Beautiful. I hope they are doing so much better today but its still sad theres millions of kids forced to go hungry. Very very jarring since I just got finished watching a documentary about extremely wealthy kids in the UK... I admire the mom not feeling ashamed about selling her body because shes doing it for her kids. I don't have kids and I'm not poor so I'm not going to sit here and say "I'd never do that" because I'm sure a parents love for their child will drive them to do anything if it means they arent starving; Its just so sad that she is doing it out of necessity and its clearly taken a toll on her. Plus, in that line of work, women can get black mailed, sexually/physically assaulted, get stds, etc. I'm sad her little girls get worried about their moms safety as well.

The stores and restaurants in California alone throws away enough to feed half of England. Such a shame. Children here in America are going hungry too. Since the pandemic the government did give full benefit for food stamps and that's helpful but non food items are thru the roof. Rents and utilities are raising monthly. The government need to help more and freeze rent and utility rates.

Please watch YT SavingwithSha. She is kind and helpful. She used sales, coupons and rebates to get free food and non food items. Most weeks she even gets paid to “buy” these items. Best wishes to you and yours!

Mothers need to be more selective of their mates and prospective fathers. If you really care for your children make sure to have a father who will care for them only then will children living in poverty and hunger stop

Why are women having children if they can’t afford to raise them? Many of these women keep having children when they may have coped well with one….This is so very sad. Children do not ask for this….

I cried watching this. These children are so adorable and wise beyond their years. I'm sure that if their contact numbers were published here many would love to donate directly to them. I know that I would. If we all gave a little we could help no end. Is it possible to do this somehow?
