Just watched this about 10 times. I'm almost certain what has happened is that Ronnie is confused about what song they are doing first (hence him trying to start in a different way twice). FHOO starts with a tom fill from him so he has clearly just thought they were starting with a different song. In fact I think I can hear Brandon saying "from here on out" moments before Ronnie starts the song. Comforting that it happens to (literally) the best of us!
