JD have shaped U2, The Cure, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Radiohead, Editors, LCD Soundsystem. Nothing wrong with depressive music. All music (not including Classical) can be traced back to the Blues - and not that RnB crap - can't get more depressive than that!
