@Thevalleyoftar -That little exchange is soo funny! I wonder if their Christian group will keep singing the kills songs at their meetings now that you've enlightened them. I can imagine the next meeting where they tell the others that they have had a slight misinterpretation of the lyrics and maybe they should find a new song. Ha! Mind you its rather cute to think someone could have thought that singing about a monkey on one's back was a religious metaphor! Classic.

My favourite kills song, a mixture of the velvet underground and pure honest beauty, except the combination of alison and jamies voices makes it more emotional, and possibly more real then the vu, which isnt a very common thing.

Really makes me sad this song reminds me of an episode of cops where this drugged up mother was freaking out and being really crazy and moving in weird ways in front of her kid who was crying and this cop explained that mommy is ok she's just got a monkey on her back that makes her act like that...
