You'd be tempted to think they're sleeping together, but they've admitted in interviews that underlying sexual tension is a major creative force for their songwriting process. Makes you wonder if they consciously don't fulfill those desires for their art, eh? Admittedly, that would be pretty strange and require a lot more restraint than most of us probably would care to.

Alright mate, you can think whatever you want (we all would LOVE to believe it!) but they never dated. That kissing ritual has been going on for years and it's not a romantic thing. None of us will ever fully understand their complex friendship but they never dated- Jamie's always had girlfriends and they've always maintained that their relationship is platonic. It's a really really really close friendship :P Alison did say they're soulmates, which I believe but yeah.... :)

I have always wondered that. It's hard to tell, in my opinion. A lot of musicians are just close friends who have relationships outside of their friend-colleague relationship with their band members. I always wondered if Karen-O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs had ever slept with Nick Zinner, but then I found out she had a long term relationship that wasn't with Zinner. There is also that duo/band "She & Him". I doubt they fuck, but you never know. I bet if they're both single they would while on tour.

Obviously about addiction, but I don't think is necessarily about anything specific. Addiction comes in many forms; from drugs to love. You can be addicted to a particular person much like a heroin addict is addicted to the needle and tourniquet.
