Monumental interview/analysis. These guys are just brilliant at deconstructing the races and helping us outsiders understand what's what. Thanks again, JS7 for an amazing episode. Oh, and I'm not sure anyone else feels this, but I see a lot of McGrath in Chase Sexton. The riding style, to me, is very similar. The great stance and positioning on the bike. Pretty cool.

His skills and mental game/intelligence on a dirt bike were second to none. Without that combination he would have crashed and been injured a lot ! By the time Jett gets to 50 wins he is going to be a beaten-down warrior and the next 20 wins will be twice as hard I hope he does it but I highly doubt it.

They both are articulate, funny, and insightful on top of being legend status. This content will help educate the newer riders getting into sport. Get rid of the drama, back stories, and filler and call the live races during broadast and things will be better for the sport.

Best thing I’ve seen out of tomac so far a definitely in his last interview was he was still smiling after getting beat. Hardly would see the guy smiling when he was winning but this season he’s totally different. That pressure of going for the W isn’t there and it seems like he’s having a good time out there. Also, awesome show as always. 2 legends behind the mics. Can’t wait to see your commentary at Daytona Bubba. #fastestmanonthepanet,theking,JS7,Mc1

14:01 I saw action like that between Stewart and Grant at an Anaheim supercross one time. It was the first lap and Stewart aggressively got by Grant on a short straightaway right in front of the mechanics -- roughed him up in the process and I remember Grant's visor quickly looking over at Stewart as he went by. Sure enough, two turns later in a bowl, Grant braked hard before getting to the bowl, squared up and absolutely blasted Stewart kamikaze style as Stewart exited the bowl...dude was ready to sacrifice himself in the process but they both stayed up.

I was in Tampa SX 1993 watching you King Jeremy dethrone Stanton! I was their in Orlando Citrus Bowl when you @therealjs7 / The Fastest Man on The Planet / Bubba dethroned The Goat! RC4 / The Angry Goat (Pizza in DTSP Pizza Box named after Ricky Carmichael). I announced in early 90's throughout Florida Moto and Dade City for you Bubba & RC... I was 125A FL State Champ but burst my C1... didn't transition to pros... never had a coach or money... a few sponsors many mini o / winter am podiums in Mini B, Mini 12-13, Mini A, 125B & 125A... We couldn't afford to travel... sponsors weren't in the sport so much in my day... you guys were the time when it got much better... so I came back off coach 2wks... from my burst C1 & crushed right arch... and I spent two hrs breaking in a 1988 Cagiva 125wmx and I went out to Gatorback... you both know it well... and I swept both 125A Winter Am motos by a half a lap on 2nd... Vince DeVane, Kevin Foley, & Brian McKelroy were all riding pro... so I was a one race fill in... same time Mike Healy was rippin Cagiva... So beyond a few local, state, mini o's, and winter am motos I announced races with you and RC in FL... you and me Bubba once sat on a RV rooftop at Gatorback and watched a race together and talked about lines, your riding, and your future... you were about 11 or 12? on a yz 80... Your dad might remember this one open money at Dade when Vince, and Guy Cooper, a few pros there for tpa... 1986... I was only 125 on final gatedrop... and I started far right outside and it was a half straight and I squared off from outside and dove like Webb down low and came out with holeshot on a stock 1986 Cr 125 and I led every lap till last one where DeVane got me on his yz250 on the back straight... we didn't do Barcia shit back then like he did Malcolm dirty @saltlake... we didn't crossjump or whip or cut off down straights.. we eased over if we could or we raced for a line in corner... so I couldn't ease over on Vince... so I took second... grew up in the shadows of Ronnie Tichenor & Vince DeVane never beating either once... came close... real close in Mini Os & Dade... I have topped LaRocco, Emig, M Brown, D Stephenson, L Ward, K Lewis, M Craig, and a few more legends... only won one big race, 1988 Gatorback Winter Am 125A... and 1986 FL Gold Cups and Title... it was a fun time to grow up... My first Ponca was with The Haynes bros and their dad Parcell in 1980. My mechanic was Kyle Chisholms after I left racing in 88. I was Glenn Somerville 798 I made both Tpa & Daytona Main 125pro... they didn't record my 11th oa at Daytona... bummer... I had the $400 chk for 11th... it was my 4th wk on a new bike kx 125 and wasn't comfy at tpa but felt dialed at 88 Daytona... did all big obstacles... huge tabletop n jump after w a 180 bowl then straight into short whoops b4 heading west along pit row over finish line ditch jump passing by gate.... following sweeper a lapper landed on my back... I was pushin top 5... dropped to 24th w 2 laps and caught back up to 11t... as a Fl poor boy... I did pretty well. I left racing following week when bikes were stolen... and following week an xray revealed my Burst C1 still had a hairline fracture since 86 mini os... which btw, I rode 4 days before knowing my C1 was burst, aka Jefferson Fracture and I made TT Podium and top 5 in Mx Motos... still got 12th in sx all 125A 1986 Mini O's. I was in Cycle News with my TT trophy in my neckbrace. I beat a few legends with a broken neck... that's why racin Florida made guys like RC & Bubba. I holeshot every single moto in my 1986 125A Gold Cup Championship... oh, I was driving for Robbie Horton in 97 up through St Louis & Pontiac... was in the pits with you Jeremy... I had a small clothing line Thrill Seeking Threads mid late 90s... ✌😎

HE NEEDS to Either, put differant Air pressure in the front Tire . Or Add Some weight. Like a Pound in each Fork, to help him FEEL, the bikes traction, like he did last year. BUT that may make him slower , its a Tricky position he's in., But I know this. IF HE LOOSES THIS championship, its a TOTAL failure. CONSIDERING the wins. He needs to be 1st or 2nd EVERY WEEK, and after he gets up , IS FKN STRANGE , he just cruises. I don't understand. , WHERE IS BEAST MODE , I HAVNT seen it since outdoors last year. He needs to treat it like its VERY important , or just retire. And quit making himself look bad. Because him getting up , from a Weak as Slid out. HE SHOULD OF PUT THAT Yamaha in 5th gear and HIT the nitrous, but he just cruised. That's Not Eli Tomac. As they say Shit or get off the Pot. 20+ years ago, Jeremy came to a little no-name motocross track just outside Salt Lake City. Saw him make a 90-degree turn at about 8mph(?), had a short 20-ft run to approach a series of whoops, Jeremy torque-launched his bike over ALL of the small whoops (eight of them?). LOL, none of the other National-level racers even tried. Hell, no other racer would have even THOUGHT that launch was even possible.

@rollforeverderbs
@rollforeverderbs Жыл бұрын
Needless to say it was not Chase's fault that he got stuck behind those lapped riders in the third moto but I think he could have caught Webb again after losing the lead. He just made some odd line choices, for example rolling the double before the box jump nearly ever lap, and taking the inside line before the dragons back which forced him to jump through it. It was visibly faster to jump the double before the box jump and to blitz up the dragons back from the outside line. This is kind of similar to what happened at Houston with the sand section. He was losing so much time taking the inside line that he couldn't possibly make it up on the rest of the track. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Chase Sexton fan and I probably want him to get the title more than anyone else. He just has to overcome this mental hurdle, and this pattern of committing to bad lines in a main event. I also acknowledge how hard racing is, and that I'm just a guy. Just frustrated as a fan because I know what he's capable of.

Man...feel so justified about the Webb pass on Sexton. When I told people it was just indecision vs experience, people still tried to blame Harlan for all of it. Chase hesitated and "assumed" he had the line covered. Coop had a better vantage point and went for it. Like JS7 & McG said...hard right!
