If you're curious, the reason they played the outro music over that last scene was to fit more content into the episode. They run on a strict timeslot on Japanese TV, so they can't just make the episode longer. An intro/outro is 1 minute 30 seconds of what is normally essentially dead air (no story content), so instead of just running with the standard visuals of that, they used that timespan to extend the episode.

So now this episode has been released. So Mappa has only 3 more episodes to end the arc. So that's why they have to fit as much as content in these 3 episodes. The 2nd season consists of 23 episodes in total. That has officially been confirmed. So only 3 more episodes are left.

It hurts my heart to see them complaining about the credits rolling over the episode when it was done SOOO WELL. They removed the credit sequence so you get to see more of the fight. The music has to be played, but it doesn't matter cause the song is so nice that it still fits the scene.

It's a pretty standard practice in anime to play the ed over scenes while having credits when they need to squeeze more story in the episode. It airs on time so they can't just extended the episode timing that will cost money to have more of timeslot on tv. The only other anime to pay money to the broadcastors to extend episode is re:zero atleast of those i know. I have more points in reply read them if anyone likes.

There are two ways studio's get songs for anime. 1. They get the whole rights for these songs so they can play it as many times as possible in eps or if they want to can even remove it. 2. They only have a contract stating in how many episodes they can use it, if it's 20 they would have to use it in 20 episode or else studio has to pay additional fees for not obliging to the contract.

Most often then not it's not planned how episodes end or can they fit all the story in these episodes so they fade the ed to get evoke hype feelings while also maintaining the contract it's a win-win situation. I like how psycho pass and link click animes does it's so hype every episode when the ed starts playing before the credits show up.

Playing the ending during the last scene of an episode is a common thing in anime. It's done most of the time in important episodes, with important final sequence, to make the scene even more impactful. It's often done to add an emotional tone. In the case of this episode of jjk, it can be seen as weird, but I think it still fits the tone if we think about yuji and what he's going through.

Besto Friendooo is back !!!! For having more minutes of real moment they erase the ending moment. They just played the ending but continu to act like the episode continu more minutes. There's literally no power up in this anime. Up until the very recent chapter in manga. EVERY form of upgrade is done through training and TIME. There's NO sudden awakening or anything AT ALL in JJK. EVERY characters that fight someone far stronger than there are die. Plot armour is to make characters 'not' being in situation that they will die. Which is a far better way to keep them alive than 'they fight and suddenly get an upgrade'.

Todo didn't want to tell Yuji that inheriting wills of dead comrades is the sorcerer's punishment because it would break Yuji, it's the same reason why nanami hesitated when giving yuji his. Todou, Itadori, Mahito, 😐these three are officially my favorite characters (especially Mahito aka patchface) in JJK, I don't care about no Toji, no Gojo, no sukuna, i don't care about them no more, these boys right here......😖peak, like come on now, bro shout out to Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito's voice actor). In season 1 nanami explains about mahito and in season 2 again mahito himself explain about this matter few times. The fight against mechamaru, "Your attacks don't work on me" the fight against nobara were he literally said that " yuji was not only his natural enemy".

Fun fact: - Many didn't understand Aoi Todo's line in her entrance, those lines are very cold and unbelievable. Aoi Todo's line in the anime was: "(1) The sound of the bells of Gion Shoja echoes the impermanence of all things; The color of the flowers of the teak tree declares that those who bloom must be struck down."(2) However, "we are the exception". (These lines belong to the beginning of "Heike Monogatori", one of the most important books in Japanese literature). The original quote and the full translated text are as follows: "(1) The sound of the bell of Gion Shoja echoes the impermanence of all things. The color of the teak tree blossoms declares that those who flourish must be cast down. (2) Yes, the proud are only for a moment, like a night's dream in spring. The mighty are destroyed in the end, they are like dust before the wind." But the surprising and curious thing is that everything written beyond (2) (from Aoi Todo's quote in the anime) is not present in the original text, but was added by Aoi Todo and goes completely against the spirit of the original text, not only in form but also in intent, proclaiming itself an exception to what could well be divine law.
