I feel like Kaeya’s dad is on some 500+ IQ galaxy brain level plan. I feel like he has some huge plan, manipulating things behind the scenes. So even if Kaeya chooses Mond it makes no difference- Kaeya’s father still has his plans.
@TheLaughingManLore2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've been wondering about who he could be recently, it'd be wild if it was someone we already know of like Pierro (though it's probably not him) but whoever he is, he can't just be sitting around waiting for Kaeya to grow up and do everything for him. Especially with Kaeya being as tricky/smart as he can be, maybe it's something he learned from his dad.

@@TheLaughingManLore yeah and I just realised that possibly all the Khaenri’ahn’s we know of in game are tied to the royal family and the King. Kaeya: (most likely) the King’s son and heir Dainsleif: Captain of the Royal Guard Rhinedottir: an alchemist, most likely served the royal family Pierro: in the Pale flame set it says- “I failed to earn the favor of the previous ruler. So too did I fail to stop them from tearing away the veil of sin, ushering in a tide of divine wrath, destruction, and foolishness...” so he also has ties to royalty. Which tells me that everything relating to Khaenri’ah is building up to Kaeya’s father and/or the Eclipse Dynasty in general. In the We Will Be Reunited Quest, Paimon even suggests that our twin may not even be the highest member in the Abyss and could be working for someone- the ‘king’ maybe? Aka Kaeya’s father? Which leads me to believe that perhaps every plot relevant Khaenri’ahn serves the King’s interest in some way or form- which leads me to believe that his plan isn’t entirely reliant on Kaeya and he perhaps foresaw the consequences of leaving Kaeya with the possibility he could become too attached, so he uses the other Khaenri’ahn’s in game to pursue other contingency plans. Either way I feel like he’s building up too be an endgame character. And since Khaenri’ah has Norse ties to it, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kaeya’s father was the ‘Odin’ type character in genshin impact- the most all knowing. And Kaeya and Dain with having an eyepatch/eye mask could be like an ode to Odin, the ruler of their homeland. Of course this is all just a theory.

Time to hopium while working my ass for thesis. KAEYA SHEEESSH --- PS : The idea Istaroth takes Kaeya into the future and links with Leyline and stuff is kinda fresh, considering his odd hair looks like a dormant Leyline color. (and the overall tone too!)
@Hikari1562 жыл бұрын
I love this theory cuz its interesting and it's not odd at all that he's from there despite still looking mostly human so maybe he really is royalty since Dain and him look more human than the hilichurls do. Oh well we'll just have to wait and see but welcome back and great job on this theory video. Please stay safe everyone

You know what, I can actually see these lining up. We only know just bits and pieces of Khan'erah but what you said may have some worth in that. It could match up why things went wrong for everyone involved and why certain things happened later on. In the end, this was a very good theory video and with the story starting to further expand on Khan'erah more, we should get more info and clues about it soon! Again soild job!

Little correction, Kaeya's grandfather wasn't the king, in fact his whole clan, the Alberich clan aren't of royal blood but you couldn't have known at the time of creating this theory since this piece of information was an easteregg added during the hidden strife event in 2.8. It is revealed that the Alberich clan while not being royalties ,,stepped in as regents when the strength of the one-eyed king Irmin failed" but yeah that's all I have to say otherwise the theory is pretty solid, and also you said the king is kinda like Odin and you were right, his name was Irmin, again, great theory
@TheLaughingManLore2 жыл бұрын
It does seem to be the case however there is a small chance he's the offspring of an Alberich father and the daughter of Irmin, though I admit that is a bit of a stretch haha. That letter was a pretty huge easter egg too considering it was from a Diluc event wasn't it? I was expecting some Diluc lore but they throw that in to blow everyone's minds! Excited to see what's going on with the Irminsul in Sumeru too, hopefully we get some more information about Khaenri'ah and their connection to the trees.
@dumbkid4ever2242 жыл бұрын
@@TheLaughingManLore the fact that we get more Kaeya lore instead of Diluc lore might suggest that Diluc will play a role in the future of Khaenri'ah, do you think he'd have another battle with Kaeya but one of them dies?
@TheLaughingManLore2 жыл бұрын
@@dumbkid4ever224 I can see the two fighting again with Kaeya sacrificing himself/letting Diluc get the killing blow as I see the two as basically Dante and Vergil from DMC with their moods switched around (Dante/Diluc and Vergil/Kaeya) but I hope Diluc is able to save him. What I'd really like to see is the two of them fighting together against the Abyss but even then, I feel like the story is being set up where one of them dies saving the other to really hit us in the feels.
@dumbkid4ever2242 жыл бұрын
@@TheLaughingManLore yeah, then we'll also know how Hoyoverse will explain Kaeya being playable despite his death, Honkai Impact has alternate timelines but genshin doesn't, unless Kaeya will just not be playable anymore which I hope is not the case as a Kaeya main. Oh well I guess we won't have to worry about that until a few years later, that is if the traveler doesn't snap before he has helped all 7 nations
@TheLaughingManLore2 жыл бұрын
@@dumbkid4ever224 I think even if a character does die then we'll still be able to play them, iirc we can still play as >her< (don't want to spoil anyone for Honkai) in the form she dies in. Yeah I think we've got a long time before anything like that happens though haha, lets hope we get Kaeya and Diluc teaming up rather than anything too tragic!

It makes alot of sense but there are still some details in the theory that dint add up 1. Like as you mentioned if the king of Khenriah was work with or was possessed by the black serpent ( who you describe as the mother of the 3 fates) surely the people would know if her since the kung named an entire division of the Army after her but the black serpent knights ( royal guard husks from the Chasm) recognised us as the Ally of fate or atleast are some what connected to her from the line "Campaign of that tyrant "fate", the traveler known as Calamity" ( idk why i just this line alot 🤩🤩) If we consider this companion we only can cononically insider two people Lumine or Paimon. so fies that mean one of them is the black serpent or is being controlled by them Also i don't think Karya's and Dain's curse being either infective or slowed down for this long is Isthroth's doing as Dain's says it cannot be cured and his current state of half cursed is due to "IT" I think if consider your theory would be Royal blood Think about it if they're creations from phanes so most likely they have his blood running through them and a royal family of this civilization surely would have the highest purity of said blood Also if Isthroth sent Kaeya in the future why'd she left Dainsleif behind Also whatever killed Makoto and the God of woods was not human that for sure, it could also be that the king was transformed into some awful monster, this is from one of Ei's about lines in which she referred to whatever they were facing even scared the Almighty Shogun as "that thing" There's also the theory that the night mother destroyed khenriah implies that she killed the two gods Also something i just remember from the line from the king ( in the mat description) The king says that everything below the throne (under the control of Celestia, the 7 nations perhaps) would be destroyed by the upheaval So it could be refering to the rebellion against the heavens for which they were punished Does that mean that the cataclysm was meant to disrupt the order of the 7 over teyvat And this makes it even interesting, there's someone else who says not the same words but close enough maybe take it even a step further "Until the abyss has engulfed the thrones my war with destiny will not end" so lumine is taking the so called rebellion from 500 years ago and taking it a step further,? But there's another contradiction that arises here The word "Destiny" can easily be used as a synonym for "fate" which would rule out lumine being this "fate" And then Aether is the companion of this fate so who's is this fate and no Paimon can't be fate as it wouldn't make sense for Lumine to not notice her when they met But then again Paimon is loyal to Lucifer 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵
@TheLaughingManLore2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the constructive criticism! I'll try to explain my thought process so hopefully my theories make a bit more sense. I'd imagine the king hid his corruption or links with the Black Serpent until it became obvious over time as he slowly indocrinated the people, I'd guess with Khaenri'ah standing for having no gods it might've made the people distrust him if they found out. Yeah that's strange with the knight calling either us or Paimon a companion of fate. It could be that they are confusing us with our twin who I'd say was a companion of the serpent right now with them being the prince/princess of the Abyss Order but it's something I'm curious to know more about. I think Dain says something like they're re-living the past too but with some of the lines they say it does seem like they are actually talking to us. Could be that Istaroth didn't slow their curse but I think the "it" that Dain talks about could be a part of the Irminsul tree which I think Istaroth has potential ties to. I do like the idea of "it" being their special blood though, I hadn't considered that. I can't say for sure why Kaeya would be sent to the future and not Dain but I'd imagine Dain was left behind to protect the Irminsul bough in the meantime. I'm really curious as to what could've taken out Makoto and the God of the Woods too, maybe at the end of the king's life the serpent had enough power to manifest in it's full serpent form? I only vaguely know about the Night Mother/Pygmies stuff so I'll have to look into that, it'd be interesting if the Black Serpent has any ties to the Night Mother. Imo the upheaval is when the Star Devouring Darkness/Abyss breaks through whatever barrier they have to keep Teyvat safe while Celestia watches from a safe distance. And yeah I think Lumine/Abyss twin is just continuing the war that the Black Serpent started all those years ago, kinda reminds me of Dain's first lines in the storyline trailer. Yeah it gets pretty confusing with stuff like that doesn't it haha, especially as we're reading stuff that has been translated from CN and could be not entirely correct. Thanks for the thought provoking comment Ren, was a really great read!

Possibly but since Dainsleif was a sword in Nordic mythology I'd guess he was the first and only twilight sword and was sort of seen as the sword of the king with him being the captain of the royal guards.
