So beautifully sung, once again. I love the fact, that the one writing this hymn, once again, clearly read KJV, shown in the vocabulary used. That superior Elizabethan English! Considered by the world to be superior to modern English, when they talk about Shakespeare, but ridiculed and called old-fashion and too hard to understand, when it comes to Bible versions. KJV English is not hard to understand, and further is the KJV the best dictionary for the meaning of words in the Bible, which is evident, if you ever read it. I much prefer KJV over even my modern Danish Bible versions, which horrendously is even more corrupt than infamous NIV in English: I literally did threw those Danish Bibles in my trashcan, where they rightfully belongs! It is just so sad to me, that most native English speakers today really is too lazy with even their native language skills to even bother learning the little, that you need to understand the KJV Bible. They would not be so lazy, if they took any education, where you have to learn very technical language, often hugely difficult too, as complex Latin words, if you want to become a nurse or MD, for instance, so why do they excuse their choice of Bible with that excuse even? I do genuinely not understand it! What can be more important than salvation and our eternal destination? Nothing really! This life is just a test, a very short existence in a fallen world and in a fallen sinful state, before the eternal life either in Heaven or Hell! I sure live for my Lord and Saviour, and indeed in Him I am promised to live and praise Him forever. A fun experiment for people could be to take sentences from this hymn and copy and paste it into a KJV app or website, and you may be amazed to see, what you find! Great promises! Many of them obscured or entirely deleted in the many new rotten translations! God Bless!

Amen! You’re preaching to the choir! I also love the KJV and have done extensive research into the reliability of versions. The kjv was indeed God-led in the process of creation. A blessing to the world. I use it all the time and teach it to my children.
