I am a 57 year old father of 2 teens. I was definitely not a fan of Pete Davidson but I loved this movie!!! I also thought every single one of the actors in this movie did an amazing job!!! The fact that his father really was killed on 911 I was amazed at his courage. I am now a fan of Pete Davidson. It just goes to show you can’t judge a book by its cover. Judd Apatow is a genius.

this might end up being my favourite movie of 2020 and definitely in my top 5 of all time. related to it a lot more than i thought i would and it just embodies the perfect mix of comedy and sadness with an overall optimistic ending. had everything the "perfect" movie should have and i wish i could've gone on forever

Dark Star - if you read my comment thoroughly, I said it would end up being MY favourite of 2020 and TOP 5 of all time for ME. lmao idc what anyone else thinks, i fuck with the movie and thought it was great. Also never said that Pete would continue to be on the big screen either. Who knows? I've seen an interview where he says he would prefer to be writing and directing. Whatever works for him. I thought he did great though.

I rented the movie on Amazon Prime the day it came out. Been looking forward for a long time and it didn't disappoint. The whole cast was amazing. Big fan of Bill Burr and Steve Buscemi. I can just imagine Leslie Mann on set taking care of her daughter and making Judd take his vitamins.
