when I was a kid we lived at the San Felipe Courts, now know as Allen Parkway Village, but anyway, under the Sabine Bridge, one hot summer's day, Buffalo Bayou had all most dried up, but under the bride, there was a pipe, pouring out fresh water, and the water was coming out so strong that it form a hole on the side of the bank, and in that hole were a school of Cat Fish, about 6 feet long, huge, and also snapping turtles, all together in that hole trying to stay alive, about 1962.
