I feel like Cecil Harvey from FF4 is slept on as a character to be integrated into Kingdom Hearts. His entire arc is literally dispelling the darkness in his body and being reborn in light, I legitimately don't understand how he is not already in the series.

For a new Square Cameo, my top pick would be Gilgamesh. Having him show up in Quadratum, which is apparently outside the KH universe, seems like a good way to have him show up without the series' cosmology breaking his "all Gilgamesh appearances are the same guy hopping between worlds" lore. And no, the Weapon Master from UX doesn't count. That was a Heartless. An obviously Gilgamesh-themed heartless, but still not Gilgamesh.

My biggest hope for KH4 is that there's a disney and SE spots in Quadratum. The concept of Sora meeting abunch of dead characters is such a good opportunity. Like, Zack can be there, several dead parents, and just movies focused around afterlives in general. This theoretical also creates the funniest scenario of Oswald, Della and Max showing up. It can be a fun parallel to Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Sora going through the afterlife with dead loved ones of his friends is a very wild concept, that I wanna see very badly.

"Meet the Robinsons" would be one of my picks for new Disney worlds. I'm a little surprised this wasn't touched on during the segment, but Meet the Robinsons has a big emphasis on time travel and the implications of doing so, which could very well mirror Sora's appearance in Quadratum because of his actions in KH3. It also has a cool visual style, with a very "normal" present but starkly contrasting versions of the future based on Lewis' choices. Sora and Lewis could have a heart-to-heart (no pun intended) about valuing the things you have rather than focusing all your energy on what could have been. Naturally, Bowler Hat Guy and Doris could be possible antagonists, or maybe they all team up to fight a bigger Heartless threat after Lewis and Goob make up.

SE gets a say in certain things, like, say, Sora being used in Smash, but ultimately, for purposes of copyright, Disney is the owner, with SE being listed as the developer. But, even if you ignore this and make an exception for for a non-Disney owned character being a Princess of Heart, they probably will have qualms about a Final Fantasy based character being a Princess of Heart, unless they really shake-up the amount of inclusion of FF character's importance to the story.

Also I imagine that Roxas and Xion will most definitely get some action. Whether or not they'll be playable is still up in the air (I'm leaning more towards less likely due to the already sheer amount of potential playable characters), but they'll definitely be involved in the Sora search. The answer's simple: Sora saved them and gave them a second chance to truly exist, so it would make sense for them to return the favor. I honestly think that's what KH4 is gonna be about: saving Sora. The guy already gave it his all (literally) to save these guys (remember "Their hurting will be mended when you return to end it"). Now Sora's the one who's hurting, and it's up to the ones he saved to save him.

I've played Automata last year and reading about the Nier series I learned that it is a whole futuristic what if scenario from an alternate ending of Drakengard, a medieval fantasy game, where the main characters end up transported in the real world. The story could either go like the movie with Kairi replacing Riley or it's an original story with the characters being desperate to wake up Riley and going on an adventure to do so

For non-sora playable characters, I would have gone with Strelitzia. I could easily see her having a little prologue similar to what Roxas got in KH2, where we go around and explore Quadradam. If I want to be bold and make a very specific prediction, I could see something where it starts off with basically no combat or supernatural stuff (once again like 2) but then Sora arrives unconscious and shortly after he does so do Heartless and Strelizia has to stop them while we wait for Sora to wake up, leading into the cutscene from the trailers where he wakes up on her couch. While I doubt I'm good enough at predicting to be exactly right on this, I feel confident that I'm at least in the ball park here.

my predictions: playable non-Sora character: Kairi joins Donald and Goofy on their adventure final boss: Strelitzia possessed by a primordial darkness. Since a darkness had to do with her death, what if it chooses to possess her in 4? Also imagine the transformation. I want to see how a primordial darkness looks in physical form. new world: going more for the Pixar side, The Incredibles or Cars. Both take place in a more modern setting, superheroes are the hot thing and just imagine car Sora combat returning world: timeless river. So much potential in there. new cameo: knowing how wacky Nomura is, gonna guess a FF7 character from either Advent Children (like Sephiroths child clones) or Dirge of Cerberus (Weiss superboss?)

I feel like wasteland from epic Mickey could work for kh4. Wasteland is an alternate world where forgotten toons go, which is kinda like death for toons. Oswald could be an interesting character to bounce off of (not only being Mickey's "brother") but also working as a way of representing how Sora could (most likely not) get resentful for being trapped in quadratum. Probably also a neat way of hinting at Aqua's ptsd from being trapped in the realm of darkness. If anyone has anything that could be added let me know, I wanna see how deep this could go

It might have released too late in development, though apparently the movie had been in development itself for seven years before its release (and it was announced before KH4's official announcement), but I'd be interested to see an Elemental-based world. The obvious place to put it would be relatively early as a way of (re)learning magic - maybe for Sora learning how things work in the new (un)reality; maybe for Kairi as part of her training under Aqua. The story is all about bridging worlds, the immigrant experience, and different perspectives coming together (with a side-helping of parental expectations), and the setting is very different from anything else that's been in Kingdom Hearts. --- Speaking of Maleficent, the KH version of the character has been getting more nuanced and less directly evil as the series progresses, so her teaming up with her live-action AU version actually makes a lot more sense than if she were still her original cartoon villain... --- When it comes to Mary Poppins, I feel like she's more likely to turn up as an isolated supporting character, like Merlin or the Fairy Godmother in KH1, rather than having an entire world. Her entire thing is taking the children off for magic adventures in other realities, and then moving on to some other place, rather than having a simple, consistent setting. I could see her and Bert both turning up with some chalk pavement art as a way to travel to other worlds rather than using gummi ships around Quadratum.

I personally think Xehanort is gonna come back as a slightly grumpy ghost mentor to Sora. Not really in like a manipulative way either literally just like “swing your keyblade this way it does more damage” and Sora’s like “No it doesn’t- oh… yeah it does…um” He is still a very powerful master and it would be an interesting angle and a way to explore his character outside of an antagonistic light (no I don’t count dark road no one can play it anymore) ANOTHER EDIT: (sorry keep getting ideas) this one is just pure vibes, I think Ava is Kairi’s ancestor. Again literally just vibes based off of the fact that they’re both pink and happen to have similar skin tones. YET ANOTHER EDIT: I’ve seen people saying Gilgamesh in kh4 and as someone who recently completed the Hildibrand quests in FFXIV I would love to see Greg I think that would be fun. Also I’m so hurt by the lack of a mention of FFXIV in the vid, they have great characters and I would love to see them in kh4

Inside Out is actually a fascinating world choice to me as the idea of exploring the mind is a concept that is already sort of established in BBS (“Your body submits, your heart succumbs, so why does your mind resist?”). Also, It’s unclear if they plan to have another TWEWY crossover but influencing the mind is also a concept in both games in that series so idk I feel this world has some interesting potential.

At this point, I wouldn't mind stepping away from Winnie the Pooh and allowing another property to fulfill the minigame world slot. Mary Poppins seems to be a great fit for this. There is a lot of varied material to draw from for minigames. Honestly, if we were to see a Mary Poppins world, I almost feel like it would have to go this route. It doesn't feel like a property that lends itself to high action or combat scenarios.

I know it's not really a "main" FF game, but I'd love to see Zenos from FF14 as a superboss. He's essentially that game's take on Sephiroth, constantly swaps around weapons and fighting styles (or at least swaps between a katana and a scythe), and depending on how loose they wanna play with canon, they could do some pretty cool stuff with Shinryu and Zero if they so choose. Plus, with the benefit of not having to deal with mediocre netcode, we could ACTUALLY get *A TEST OF YOUR REFLEXES*.

Returning Disney Worlds: Olympus Coliseum and Land of Dragons, featuring a by-the-books retelling of the beloved Gisney classic Mulan 2. Square Enix Cameos: Sion Barzahd from the Bouncer as Yozora's best friend, and Zero from Drakengard 3 in the role of Pete in Pete's Dragon (1977). The 2016 Pete's Dragon will replace Pete with cat Pete, and is where you will obtain Bahamut's summon gem. Non-Sora playable characters: The Master of Masters himself, sporting a sick new sitar moveset. Rendered meaningless when he is inevitably revealled to be Sora anyway. Final Boss: A new character known as Yaltex Werenlias Sid.

At them making predictions for playable characters. I'm gonna make a 5head prediction and say sora being playable is actually going to be a roxas KH2 situation and you'll be playing as Yozora most of the game. Or there will be some crazy twist involving those two characters.

The only problem I see with a potential Inside Out world is how that would work from a lore perspective. Because the characters from the movie that everyone knows and loves are the emotions belonging to Riley. It’d be incredibly weird if they just lifted Riley’s emotions and gave them to a KH-original character.

I have a prediction: Tron: Ares. Nomura seems to like Tron and the new Tron will be out in 2024. The plot involves programs from The Grid finding their way into the real world, which seems like it could integrate really well into Quadratum in a similar fashion to Space Paranoids in Hollow Bastion. The timeframe is a little sketchy but we know that Nomura gets access to Disney properties early and it's possible if he really likes Tron he might have fought to include the story in some way in KH4 even if the film isn't finished yet.

Probably not going to happen, but I hope the majority of the Disney worlds not only stray AWAY from live-action, but away from more recent movies in general. There’s still a few classics that they’ve never visited: Bambi, Jungle Book, Robin Hood, 101 Dalmatians, Black Cauldron, Treasure Planet, Atlantis… heck, throw A Goofy Movie in there. It might fit the theme of “forgotten” films. But that’s all a pipe dream … I just want a win for classic Disney heads.

Very unlikely returning world, but one that I would love is Lilo & Stitch. I could see a side quest where you have to go to several worlds to fight and collect experiments. Another world I would love to see returning is Neverland, mostly because Sora never has been on the true Neverland.

So about the final bosses. Apart of me feels like it could be sora. However we'd be playing as vanitas. Why do i say this? Well it feels like for me anyway the darkness which is vanitas isnt in ventus but is actually in sora and this could be vanitas simply trying to stop sora from doing something extremely stupid. This might also fit the theme of kh4 that people will look at something and have their own view on it
