i mean you can disagree without assuming like a ton of stuff of me and my take on the matter. i think she's displayed plenty of bravery but the story keeps putting guard rails around her/making her a damsel/someone Sora needs to save. Getting wristgrabbed by Xemnas, Sora force projecting himself to fight Xehanort in MelMem, her saying she needs "more training" and can't go with Riku, things like that. I'm not asking for her to be whatever you think I want her to be, just for her to not be held back as often as she is

@@RegularPat she's held back by her lack of being able to fight off oncoming kidnappings, but that's basically it. She ran into dark portals and was shown flying thru the darkness with nothing besides her pendant i guess to protect her, no ship, no armor. To me, she's strong enough as a character, not everyone needs to be able to stand up to the literal big bad guy solo. She hasn't had much of a training arc (unless ReMind gives us that, that's the only thing I haven't touched yet and I plan on getting it soon). So, I think being upset about her being held back is like, a bit premature potentially, or just a fan being a fan- you demanding more. You even say in another video her best part is coming, yet here we are, Kairi isn't op yet and you are tired of her being relegated to "kidnapped plot device," which is understandable, but I think after all these games, that's just her role. It's like saying sora is cheesy for MFAMP, like, that's his thing? Leaving the destiny islands is where we can say the characters show their original wishes, their ideals I guess if we're to talk about the why's here- and she didn't have one aside from leaving specifically with sora, (riku optional). So it's like, to me, you don't like the premise and want more for her, and I disagree. Say I assume all you want, we're talking about a game here, I don't think any of it is anything besides assumptions made on gameplay and interviews. I'm not trying to be a pain, I'm just saying, maybe manage expectations? Like wow, the chick from 22 years ago that's gotten a grand total of what, a fight or two in gameplay mode, and some cutscene action......can't stop the Big Bad Guy(or some version of him)? The end boss of the current series' story arc? Do we not go over, in most of the games, how strength isn't just the big stronk?
