I tend not to play "evil" characters so typically wouldn't play an assassin but I like the way you presented him as being a professional assassin instead of just dark and shadowy. I like the Letho aesthetic from the Witcher and your choice of armor suits perfectly - the utilitarian look of the red leather is less conspicuous than a red and black jumpsuit. As always, I loved the backstory.

what kind of characters do you play? personally, i try to go for morally grey witch hunters usually. using conjuration magic to kill conjurers is just fun, and adding archery is all the better.

@@bigboyemotheescamo78 Regarding an assassin type character, basically I tend not to play characters who would kill innocents, which unless a mod is being used to provide justification for the assassination, is most of the targets during the Dark Brotherhood questline.

Love the way you drew inspiration from a less obvious choice of an existing character like that. My first ever playthrough was an enchanting-heavy fire sorcerer based on Shang Tsung (need a reason to steal those souls!) and my latest was an artificer based on Urza from MTG (dwarven drone fly and the new Redguard Elite Armaments minus the helm being perfect new AE additions to the ol’ Aetherial staff and Dwemer pets). Your build vids are a highlight of every week and are definitely going to keep people playing Skyrim until ES6 finally arrives.
@peterpan18862 жыл бұрын
I‘ve got a build idea for you. I recently discovered that you can use unenchanted staves as shields and made a martial arts character centred around the mechanic. It was a fun experience, pummelling your foes with a stick, sending their arms out of their hands and them flying across the room. Really mixed up the otherwise stale unarmed combat. The play style paired up nicely with frenzy and ash runes. Just place a rune at your feet and wait for the enemy to charge, then use your block to gather your foes in one place and fall back slowly. This way you can reliantly hit an entire cave of bandits or what not with one rune. Then depending on the type of rune you can either cast another ash rune to keep the company knocked out until your done with your mission or drink a potion of invisibility and watch how the angry hive you were fencing off a second ago starts fighting amongst them self.
@Skypothesis2 жыл бұрын
Oh that’s fun! Does it work with disarming bash? Could definitely be viable if so!
@peterpan18862 жыл бұрын
@@Skypothesis It does. Though Bashing with the staff does next to no damage, even with deadly bash. So, besides shield charge and disarming bash, the staff really is more of a defensive resource. Edit: I should add that shield charge and block runner are a bit buggy. You have to run into an enemy and time your block to trigger the effect.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I’m 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don’t smoke, but I occasionally drink. I’m in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.

My suggestion for anyone who want to expand on his roleplay. Letho in the Witcher had associates who helped him kill the kings of the Northen Kingdoms. In Skyrim you can have the DB Initiates follow you around when you do missions dealing with powerful targets it shows that even if he is a master of his craft even skilled assassin’s need a hand and you can roleplay that he is also teaching the initiates his skills.

I really like this build actually, especially the Letho inspiration. Importantly I think people can have a lot of fun going down a slightly different path, less of a 'calculated' efficiency route with meticulous planning but rather a sort of 'brutal' efficiency. Instead of spending long periods of time planning and preparing the perfect, flawless kill, a more brutal assassin might slap on a rudimentary disguise and run someone through in broad daylight, shoving their way through the gathering crowds, bashing guards aside and quickly making their escape after.

After watching Grim Dark's Forsworn playthrough, where the Forsworn = the Cimmerian tribal kin of Conan the Barbarian, I would enjoy the Skypothesis take on a Forsworn character based around the Armor of the Old Gods and Forsworn lore and weapons. Of course, without mods, one can't be treated as friendly to the Forsworn, but surely the "Renegade Briarheart" who was transformed against their will, or the "Shaman Pariah" whom eats people could explain that away. I don't know what skill types the gear lends itself to but would be interested to see Skypothesis take a crack at it! Maybe it would be too redundant, but then again maybe it would be genius. Love the Letho assassin :)

So I'm normally not one to comment very often but I had a thought on something while going back and literally binge watching all your build videos, great work by the way on all of them to this point, but who would you say is the de facto Dragonborn of all your builds so far? I always thought the Burning Barbarian or even the Ghost of Atmora would be in my eyes. Builds like the Blue Sapphire Smuggler and the Kingkiller not so much for their personalities, especially Kingkiller with his "F**K IT, if no one else will kill these dragons, then I will" mentality. Keep up the Builds i enjoy them all!

Loved the video, fantastic! May I ask for a conjuration and illusion archer? I'm currently enjoying playing a bard inspired by my dnd valour bard character. He enjoys risks and rewards and thus joins the thieves guild but his talent comes from illusion and alchemy and enchanting. He loves to learn of history and how it can benefit him and others, which is why he relies on a underground network to learn more of the dwemer. And he joins the companions to be included in their songs of valour. But he doesn't like crossbows due to them being too easy to kill with. The heroes who became great through cunning and by training from sword, axe or bow, are what should be sung about in the halls, not someone who cheats their way to it. I like the idea of him using shouts like call of valour, dismay, and kyne's piece, and being nature orientated with his summons using flaming familiar, familiar and the new bear summon to reak havok along with frenzy, fear and calm spells and effects and using bardic knowledge to help his stamina. The issue I have is apart from history and my own culture as a descendant of Welsh Celts, there isn't much about bards and I'm struggling to find more inspiration for this character I love. I would love to see a take or spin on it from you guys!

My most recent build is The Perfect Warrior, Isldal Golden-Eye, a half Nord, half Redguard warrior who is dedicated to destroying the Thalmor. The Perfect Warrior was born in Western Skyrim, near the border of Daggerfall. His father was a Redguard warrior, his mother a strong Nordic woman. Both were dedicated to their son, and to maintaining a peaceful and happy life. When the Great War broke our, The Warrior and his parents moved to the north, to Solitude. For a few years everything was okay, war was far from their new home and The Warrior and his family were safe. That was until the White Gold Concordat was signed. Inquisitors sent from the Dominion began to arrive in Skyrim, and an aura of fear settled over the populace. The Warrior however was unfettered. Neither he nor his family were Talos worshipers, yet that didn't stop the inevitable. Innocents dissapeared from the streets regularly. Fear was everywhere, and one day The Warrior returned to his home overturned and his mother gone. His father was frantic, searching everywhere. He didn't have to search long. Just outside the city hangedthe bodies of heretics, The Warriors mother among them. His father went into a rage and grabbed a guards sword, cutting the man down. He hunted through the city killing all he found, seeking out the inquisitor responsible. Before he could find them, an arrow pierced his heart. The Warrior watched as his father was killed, and the guards turned upon him. He was forced to run, and run he did. He kept running, until he eventually passed into Hammerfell. There, The Warrior joined with a band of Redguard warriors. He had no skill himself, but he learned quick enough. For 5 long years The Warrior trained as much as he could, becoming a competent swordsman, and fighting in many battles against the Thalmor. But he was never satisfied. Finally, having learned enough, he set out back to Skyrim set upon avenging his parents and finding the Thalmor agent responsible for his families death. He also was determined to see Skyrim free of a cowardly Empire, one willing to let its own people be hunted and murdered. The Perfect Warrior focuses solely on martial pursuits, except for conjured weapons and shouts. He sees those as extensions if Perfect martial prowess, and he seeks to be like the sword singers of old. He will fight on against the Thalmor and the Empire indefinitely, and slaughter any Thalmor agents he sees usually on sight.
