@@The.stormreaper Tbh this might sound weird and this coming from someone that prefers the Imperials. But Sven makes much more sense to have as a Follower. There are PLENTY of Archer Followers and trainers in the game who are all much better than Faendal. Aela, Jenessa, and even Gorbash are much better than him. In Vanilla Skyrim he does not provide much to the character beyond Level 30. Sven on the other hand may be a weaker Follower in Vanilla. However I think he is the only Follower in the game with the Bard Class. Meaning that for roleplay purposes he fits a role in the game that no one else can. It also makes much morse sense to have Sven as a Steward than Faendal. Sven is a Nord, better spoken, educated, and a talented musician. Meaning that he would be a significantly better Host and Overseer of your property than Faendal in the lands of Skyrim especially. In comparison Faendal is... Well he's a hard working dude that's okay with a bow lol.

I like how The Rebel uses his werewolf form as a means of disguise, especially when completing Dark Brotherhood contracts. I love how his chosen weapons are symbolic to his backstory and motivations. The wolf armor is perfect for his werewolf/rebel vibe. I like the use of specific potions to counteract the effects of the skooma and alcohol.

One of my favourite parts of planning out these builds for me to play, is giving them a name. My rule is to only use the first letters of the build name. Example: Volkihar Knight = first name starts with V last name starts with K If it's a single word like "Rebel", then the first name starts with an R, but the last name either starts with the final letter (L in this case) or the first letter of the next most prominent syllable (B in this case). It's a weird rule, but it limits my name choice and makes me use names I wouldn't normally use. Plus it's easier to remember what character is what build. Find the name "Verrick Kingscroft" in the character saves. "V" and "K", and it's a Breton name, so Volkihar Knight is the Build.
@Skypothesis4 жыл бұрын
Verrick Kingscroft - that's a siiiiick name! I really like that rule! The one-word names definitely make that a bit more difficult! We have one more one-word name this season - hopefully that won't make it too difficult haha

@@Skypothesis Trust me, I've done this with almost every single Skyrim build out there, whether I'm actually going to play them or not. I've planned the names for 1157 Skyrim Builds at the moment. Will I ever play all of those? Probably not, lol, unless I live to like 200. You can imagine how hard it was not to repeat names. I definitely have used the same name several times, but I've made it a rule to never use the same full name. I can use the name Verrick several times (but never with two builds from the same author), and I can use the last name Kingscroft several times, but never can use the name Verrick Kingscroft more than once. Here are the other names I've got for your builds if your curious. You can guess the build from the name probably. @@Skypothesis I was hoping to try a more traditional Nord hero sword and board build, roughly along the lines of Gormlaith Golden-Hilt - her kit is quick enough to put together and gives a reason to do the main quest. I intended to have Restoration instead of Alchemy, and a transition to dual-wielding after Quick Reflexes/shield bash/sneaky Fus or any other stagger effect to buy a precious second to switch weapons, to get the best of shield protection and dual wield burst damage. Possibly the Atronach stone, at least until Elemental Protection is perked. Gormlaith face-tanks dragon breath like a boss so its fitting. Ultimately the prize will be able to use Call of Valor and fight alongside her. However, the werewolf assassinations really are tempting.

I've been in a Skyrim mood for weeks but lacked the ability to finish any character's story. But this channel changed that overnight! I decided to roleplay that my Rebel's Lycanthropy came from Hircine approaching him in a dream, offering him power to avenge his family, as an experiment to help Hircine perfect the Beastblood. When he woke, he could see hear, and smell better, he had the strength of 5 men, and he could heal almost any wound. I really leaned into the regenerative properties of Werewolves, turning on TIM on occasion to roleplay taking a blade to the chest and the wound sealing instantly. Overall, he became a kind of Wolverine-personality character for me, especially with the Healing Factor thing. He kicked Skooma with the guidance of the Greybeards, and destroyed the Brotherhood instead of joined, role-playing that he came upon the Sanctuary without Maro's help. The roleplay aspect you add to your builds really does breathe new life into Skyrim!

Gear: Dawnguard Heavy Armor, Ahzidal's Boots and Gauntlets, Spellbreaker, a dragon priest mask (Konahriik or Otar for the looks, Nahkriin for the stats). Ahizdal's Ring of Arcana Skills: H. Armor, Block, Restoration, Alteration, Smithing, Destruction Combos: Mana Sponge (immunity to magic as long as you are blocking): Atronach Stone + Atronach perk + Ward Absorb perk + Spellbreaker + Ahzidal's Gauntlets (The stone, restoration perk and gauntlets might be enough for 100% absorb though, I havent tested it. In that case the alteration school can be completely ignored) Slow Burn (DoT for the win): Flame Cloak + Ignite + Stendar's Aura (if fighting undead) Pain Train: Shield Charge + Whirlwind Cloak + healing spell with Respite perk when you run out of stamina

This is by far my favorite build of all that you have made. I use few more special moves- Dragon's Burning Revolt : dragon aspect shout+The Fire Within passive +fire breath (found early in campanion quest line) followed by Sun flare. the burning hatred for the false emperor have combined with dragon's blood coursing through our veins granted us the explosive power to set the empires plans in flames. Call of the Pack Leader: Animal Allegiance (found near Ysgramor's Tomb)+Werewolf from and the Totem of Brotherhood power. to clear imperial camps that are out in the open with an army of beasts. (Part of the role play is the wolf spirit within takes advantage of our vengeful fury as we slowly became one with the wild. Instant Charge: shield charge+ first 2 words of slow time shout (found early within Civil War questline) great against mages and satisfying to do. I like to limit shouts to the one found within the questline/faction we take part in and or when they fit theme of the build.

Took the werewolf aspect out of my version of the build and replaced it with a werewolf hunting theme. I also use mods related to hunting and mods that add lycanthropes to the woods and the open world. I use apocalypse, triumvirate, and Odin for spell mods and I used alternate start to start as a vigilant of stendarr. I play with anniversary edition too so I can use crossbows that actually work effectively. His armor is the stormlord armor mod and I changed his name to the wolf of the east. He didn't grow up in bruma. Instead, he grew up in the village of kynesgrove. His family was butchered by a group of werewolves and vampires when he wasn't home one day. He arrived home from his friend, roggis house and was devastated by the sight of his older brothers severed head hanging from the tree, his younger sister ripped apart and eaten, his mother being drained of her blood, and his father being missing. Something awoke in the child, and next thing you know he is furious, and his body was engulfed in a raging cloak of sunlight and fire. The whole village was telling him to leave and go avenge his family, for the good of the village, so he did. He found out that the group was a reformed alliance known as the blood and moon pact, a faction of daedra worshippers, cannibals, necromancers, vampires, and werewolves. They would go and raid villages and settlements all throughout tamriel, but the power they had wasn't enough to save them from the wrath of arkay and his new mortal weapon. With the power of the divines, the wolf, still only a 10 year old boy, slaughtered and butchered everything in the cave and left with a true hatred towards anything revolving the supernatural that is considered evil. He grew up, and eventually, once he turned 14, the vigilants of stendarr heard of a teenage boy who was slaughtering legions of daedra worshippers and leaving a bloody trail behind, leading them to the woods in the rift. They took in the boy, trained him, and had him assist in cleansing ruins and caves. Once the boy turned 21, becoming a man, the vigilants decided it would be best to let the guy choose a life to live. The boy was then given an arsenal of equipment, traveling supplies, and was given a new title. Wolf of the east. The wolf during the events of skyrim is 27 years old and is now deciding on what to do. He knows he will be joining the rebellion, but he doesn't know anything else. That's where the story begins.

And also do you have an alternative helm to wear if we can't use the torturers hood, something that would at least still pull the animalistic build together? I may end up using the stormcloak officers helm because of the bear helm part
@Skypothesis3 жыл бұрын
Yeah the bear would look great! We just liked the brown hood :)

I'm thinking since I can't get the hood, I'll go after the blackguard hood for increased profits from selling stuff, lol.

Would this also work as a Kahjiit?

The playstyle would, but for the roleplay this boy is a Nord through and through haha

@@Skypothesis I'll see what I could do to change a bit of the Lore so it could fit Roleplay.

Maybe its late to say this but lorewise werewolves cant get drunk or addicted on substances for their innate regenerative capacities

Another Skypothesis build! But this one is probably my least favourite so far. It's still an amazing build by, but it just isn't up to par with the rest. It's purely personal opinion though, of course. The Wolf Armour is one of my least favourite sets, and the torturer's hood is one of my least favourite head pieces. Ghostblade is an alright blade, but I don't care for it with this set. And the Targe is well the Targe. It's a cool shield, but I've never personally cared for it. And the roleplaying is crazy to me, as it feels like it's all over the place, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. At the same time though, this is an amazing build, but due to personal opinions on gear, it falls at the bottom of the list for me. This is of no fault to you though, so don't feel like you did a bad job with the build, you didn't!

Hey no worries at all, man! Appreciate the honesty, and not every build will be everyone's cup of tea. (only about 10% of Skyrim players ever side with the Stormcloaks lol)
@HappyHippo20024 жыл бұрын
@@Skypothesis That low huh? I thought most people sided with them their first time around because rebellions are cool. Although I support the Empire, as there the only hope to destroy the Dominion. I still love roleplaying Stormcloaks though.

@@Skypothesis So I'm coming back to change my opinion. I haven't played the build yet, but tested out the aesthetic, and wow! This is probably my favourite look for your Builds honestly. It went from being my least favourite to my favourite, and the roleplay is great as well. Crazy how sudden and fast opinions can change. Fell Alchemist is probably my least favourite now, but it's still an awesome build.

@@HappyHippo2002 Hey that's fun to hear! Really similar thing happened to me (Devin) when Tyler came up with this build. I wasn't the biggest fan of how it all came together until I started playing it, and it became one of my favorites as well! I think it just hits different at different times, ya know?? Also, tomorrow is our first time using an entire armor set, so it will be interesting to see how that goes 😂

oh well... I've known that I'd never join the stormcloaks way before leaving Helgen the 1st time so I guess I'll pass on this one :)) but it's another awesome build nevertheless
