Nobody had fun like the Kingsmen. Eldridge did a great job on the bass part.

Never seen Eldridge sing bass before! Guess this was one of the few times in the last 50 years when Ray Dan Reese was sick and missed a concert.

Yeah! This is kinda weird, seeing and hearing Ol' Foxy singing Bass...but hey:Any Port in a Storm! If it works, it works!

Thanks for posting another great video of the Kingsmen. Great to see Eldridge Fox standing in for Ray Rees, and Arthur Rice singing the baritone part for Ed Crawford , who was out also with the flu.

It never rains, but it pours, huh? Ed Crawford AND Ray Dean Reese out sick, but with replacements in the Kingsmen Quartet, to still be able to make it work. That's amazing!

As I’m sure this was a thought night for them, still was one of the best. Foxy can do it all!

On "Over the moon" Hamill kinda acted a little creepy with Garry.

You had to wonder:Just what was Jim thinking? I, too, have seen footage of him doing some absolutely creepy things with some of the singers... especially Garry Sheppard. I've actually seen footage of Jim hitting Garry in the "Back end", and have seen him do the same thing to Squire Parsons! It looked totally perverse! If I'd been a member of the Kingsmen Quartet, and he'd of done that to me, I'll tell you straight up: Contract, or no Contract, I'd of walked off the stage, and found the nearest Telephone, and called the Authorities on him, right then and there! That kind of stuff falls under the definition of Sexual Harassment! I know this, because I was a victim of sexual harassment, when I was a small child, and the perpetrator was my own Father! Seeing this kind of nonsense has definitely struck a nerve within me. How can someone, especially those who proclaim to be "Christians", do that kind of absolutely evil deed(s) to somebody?

Who's the bass singer at 16:30?
@jsw1133 жыл бұрын
I don't know his name. He was with The Liberty Quartet, a local group from Dahlonega/Cumming, GA. They recorded a couple of albums that was produced by Eldridge and Hamill. Their Baritone singer Gerald Sweatman wrote several good songs that the Kingsmen recorded (including this one). This guy was only with the Liberty QT. a very short time before they disbanded, I don't know if they ever recorded any albums with him as their Bass singer? Here's a couple of links for the albums that Foxy/Hamill produced. kzbin.info/aero/PLFXieWZ1FeFg2T0I43Zs0UmDKma6e2MQE kzbin.info/aero/PLFXieWZ1FeFjKKN9es-cRRW-G-bAtBO77
