One of the greatest rock songs by one of the greatest rock bands. These guys were so underated. But they were wild.I think I was already living in a R&R fantasy before they released this osng in the 70s. This song just defined it for me! What a great talent these guys were.The Davies brothers were awsome

I love this song. I had to throw away the first song I ever wrote because I realized it was too much like it. Someday, hopefully far into the future, I will find out that Ray or Dave paassed on and I will lock myself in a room with a bottle of Whiskey and all my old Kinks records and I will spend the whole day celebrating / lamenting their life and passing. Their music is very personal to me, I feel like they are my friends. They speak to me. Long live The Kinks !

Still as relevant today as 50 years ago, Ray and Dave are among the greatest lyricists the UK has ever produced. Incredible band that deserve the accolades the Beatles got.

John Stark I agree 100%. This band is my favorite British invasion band. I seen them in 1980 in Seattle doing their Low Budget Album. There are many videos here of that tour. Not seattle but the other stops. I just love this band.
