this song ..is the one i would want ...on the deserted island ..a great band ..i don`t believe you can get a true number one ,two,three,etc. i do firmly believe ,in the "top ten best bands of all time "the kinks are definitely.in!!great

i was one of the lucky ones who saw this show....saw sam kinison the next week .ahhhh life was and is......good ray davies can write at least as good as...lennon etc. ...great song

Excellent Song..the David Letterman version from a 1993-1997 time frame appearance was utterly awesome, much better than the video..although this vid displays the story so that's cool. The Late Night Show video was removed 2 yrs and no one had the gall to repost it .due to NBC copyright threat. Too Bad...what a Great live performance from the "master Story teller' Ray Davies. I guess ya need to buy the Late Night CD collection. Kinks concert goer @ '86 San Diego.

An almost completely IGNORED song and Album. Completely underrated (as usual) by 'the critics" and the media. RAY played this song LIVE on David Letterman. Does anyone have it? please Post!!! Also looking for The Kinks playing an impromptu backstage version of "rock and Roll Fantasy". I cant find my old tape.... How much Ray was ignored for so long it's amazing how humble and genuine he still is in person.
