Indeed it IS historical! MY dear mother stayed at the ranch in July of 1939....for two weeks with her best friend from her neighborhood. A rare thing to do considering they were from just north of Philaldelphia, Pa, having taken a train out West! to get to the Klondike! Tonight I was going through some very old photo albums and came across a letter my grandmother, my mom's mother, had written to her while she was at the ranch...dated July 12, 1938. The cover of her album is wood with a bucking bronco with a cowboy on it waving his cowboy hat. :-)....with 'WYOMING' also painted on the wooden cover. Mom loved the place and I've some great photos of her and the gang she was with on another trip there....some of her female high school classmates made the trip as well during another summer, but by car! There was a song she brought home....O Carry Me Back...to the wild praire....she would sing it to me and my sisters years after her experiences at the ranch. Hope everybody has enjoyed MY little 'history' of your place! Blessings!
