Welcome to The Knit Chat, a podcast where I talk about knitting, spinning and crafting in general.

1. Fingering 2. Lace weight 3. Multi for sure 4. I have knit Boxy 5 times. I often knit 2 if I love the sweater. 5. Alice Starmore’s vest I am trying to improve my F I skills first 6. I knit all day from when I get up to when I go to bed except for the necessities in life😂 7. Printed. Buy an Epson printer for less than $300 Cdn and print from your phone plus ink is cheap and lasts forever. I have 3 huge binders where I keep my patterns with my notes all in plastic sheet covers 8. Stocking stitch 9. Also brioche but too hot to wear (for me) 10. Cuff down 11. Both. When I knit F I. I am still at the stage where I can’t race along. For fastest needles love Skakel circulars most 12. Don’t know 13. Alice Starmore’s Tudor roses 14. I knit Zweig mono and liked it. 15. I have never found one I cld listen to. They were too chatty and not relevant to me. Will try your recommendations.

Thank you so much for your answers. I never heard of Skakel. I'll have to look that up. And yes Alice Starmore's patterns are beautiful challenges!

Clo, I thoroughly enjoyed this Q&A and am so with you on Camille Descoteaux. I made her Alaska Sweater pattern loved every minute of making it. You’re lovely to listen to.

I’ve made 2 one color with lace Zweig sweaters and then used the pattern as a guideline to make 2 no lace versions - the fit worked out really well for me. I still haven’t made a Zweig with the contrast color section, I might at some point (but it’s more likely I won’t 😊).

Skacel makes addi turbo circulars. I do not recommend addi clicks because the transition from needle to cable is rough.

LOL l'histoire des imprimantes. Sérieux, c'est tellement vrai. J'en connais trois dans ma vie qui ont toujours bien fonctionné et attention, révélation : ce sont toutes des imprimantes laser.
