Well, you know... for us from the "late bloomer" ADHD crowd (i.e. people who weren't diagnosed before having reached adulthood), being distracted by a squirrel is kind of our Achiles heel. When I got me ADHD diagnosis (also well past expiration date, i.e. at the age of 32), I was a patient at a clinic with a team specialized in the treatment of adult ADHD. That clinic is in northern Germany next to a beautiful oak forest (hard to come by these days in Europe) with a _huge_ squirrel population, and the little buggers managed to disrupt every and any of our group activities by just showing up. Just imagine a bunch of Hypies who in unison completely forget what they were up to, because they all enter "Awww, look at that _cwute_ little bugger!" mode simultaneously upon seeing one of the little rascals. So, if there should ever be an evil overlord with ADHD, you can bet you arse that one single cute little squirrel will be his nemesis :-)

Sword of Sharpness Weapon (any sword that deals slashing damage), very rare (requires attunement) When you Attack an object with this magic sword and hit, maximize your weapon damage dice against the target. When you Attack a creature with this weapon and roll a 20 on the Attack roll, that target takes an extra 4d6 slashing damage. Then roll another d20. If you roll a 20, you lop off one of the target’s limbs, with the effect of such loss determined by the GM. If the creature has no limb to sever, you lop off a portion of its body instead. In addition, you can speak the sword’s Command word to cause the blade to shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. Speaking the Command Word again or sheathing the sword puts out the light.

So according to what I have read this sword was designed with a blade geometry in mind that basically made it an extremely good cutter. Despite its length and how wide the blade is it is actually quite light weight and very well balanced. It really earns the name "Principe"
@lalli81522 жыл бұрын
Yeah its extremely acute bevels for insane cutting ability. Everything has draw backs though, and that acute bevel is also simply more fragile since its so incredibly thin behind the edge. Same is true with knives you can make incredible slicer just pure performance, but then that knife will not be as good for harder tasks like chopping in to wood or to carve seasoned hard wood since the edge chips, and gets damaged easier. In later video Skall notices that too about this sword since it gets quite nasty chunk broken off from the edge. Lot of the other swords he has used from albion likely wouldnt have no problem in that wood chopping test

@ThunderChunky1015 жыл бұрын
@@lestatstaton7856 Is the writing really that bad? I mean, is that an actual line of dialogue? I think everyone is excited because in comparison to the inexcusable tripe Disney have put out. If that's genuine dialogue, we'll... It's worse than I thought.

That continuous angled tapper maximizes a angled cutting edge as a drawing action of edge across target cuts cleanly while a flat edge blade only functions if the entire blade is moving to emulate a “drawing” action. This blade like a katana will “draw” its edge across whatever it cuts because of its taper. Brilliant and simple design.

@ aye that too. That's regular budgeting that can also play a crucial role in being able to afford a great sword. The reason it cuts so well is that it can be thin and very sharp while still strong due to the front to back width of the blade. Its doesn't have a thickness that causes drag in the material. Look up competition cutter katana for the same idea
