Was in Copenhagen on a foreign exchange trip when I first heard this song. Was up late at night and couldn’t sleep due to jet lag, so I was scanning the European medium wave radio stations I could receive. I tuned to absolute radio in the UK, over 700 miles from Copenhagen, and this was the first song that played. Was the first time I had heard it and loved it right away. This song will always remind me of that trip.

This song always brings me back to good times in my past. Especially the video, it shows so many familiar places near my old home in Mexico, for example at 0:24 the sign Tijuana La Gloria, I remember every time when we drove down that road it would mean getting Ice Cream and I just felt, happy. I haven't been happy in a long time but just listening to this song and watching the video reminds me of those times all over again. I’m 14 and have been listening to the kooks for about 2 years now. I love indie music and these guys are definitely a brilliant indie band. Listened to Rock and Indie for 2 years as a bystander of others being Goths, Moshers and what not so disliked it with a passion. Wasn't until The Kooks popped and it changed my whole narrative. Whole album is a classic. This track and Naive, you can feel the passion in the voice. Timeless.
