This song makes me feel so much deep and raw emotion. It's beutiful . It was mine and my ex gfs song, we went to see the kooks together and it was one of the happiest days of my life. There is a video of us both singing this and I kiss her on the cheek and you just see the pure natural joy on our faces. I couldnt listen to this song for months after our brakeup, now I'm laid on my bed screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs. I choose to make myself feel because facing your suffering is a big part of the healing process. And to whoever else is suffering out there just know that it is vital to your growth and it will serve you well with the right mindset. Stay strong everyone, peace and love ✌❤

Very wise words dude. Getting your heart broken is your life’s diploma. You aren’t a real man before you’ve gotten through it. The hardest thing to do. Because drowning in self pity is so much easier than facing your pain.

This is a very personal song to the Kooks, about one of the band who left, and I think he got into drugs and had some kind of breakdown. The singer has such a sad look on his face, he looks so lost and overwhelmed in some parts of the video, like he really needs a hug. The video sold this song to me as much as the music. It's beautiful, raw and emotional. So nice to see this again.

Say whatever you have to say, I'll stand by you. Do whatever you have to do, To get it out and not become a reaction memory To hurt the ones you love You know you never meant to but you do Oh yeah you do Be whoever you have to be, I won't judge you Sing whatever you have to sing To get it out and not become a recluse about how to come out I know you never meant to but you do Oh but you do Still I need your sway, because you always pay for it And I, and I need your soul Because your always soulful And I and I need your heart, Because your always in the right places And take whatever you have to take, You know I love ya Come however you have to come, And get it out and get it out Tttttake it out on me, take it out on me I'll give it you all, I give it you all, I give it I give you all I give it you all, Yes I will give it you all Cause I need your sway, Because you always pay for it And I, and I need your soul Because your always soulful And I and I need your heart, Because your always in the right places Oh yes I will, I will give it you all Still I need your sway, Because you always pay for it And I, and I need your Soul because your always soulful And I and I need that heart, Because your always in the right places.
