I agreed with everything you said about SuperM. I really didn't know how to feel about them. I don't like the chorus of the song either, I feel like it doesn't have the impact they thought it would. I also don't understand why SM wanted to push Taemin,Baekhyun and Kai into the American market now with this style of music when I think Shinee and Exo would have down a lot better if they actually promoted those groups correctly.

"Imagine him on the Ellen Show performing Move" *OHMYGOD* yes Jopping seems like the obvious title song on the mini-album. I Can't Stand The Rain comes as a close second. At least, to me. I'm so on board. I don't really like the beginning of the chorus, but it's something I quickly got over because of how much I like the rest of the song. And I think because I've listened to the album a lot, the song has grown on me more. Not that I'm forcing myself to listen to it to make myself like it more. I just listen to albums fully. Maybe I'll skip a song, but usually I just start at the first track and listen to albums all the way through. Baekhyun might be my bias, but I don't know for sure. He recently became another EXO bias for me. It was that Chanyeol was my bias and Baekhyun was my bias wrecker, but Baekhyun has graduated and moved up to being another bias. Chanyeol is my ULT bias, though, and he's still an EXO bias along with Baekhyun, now. I think a lot of this has to do with timing. SM probably sees now as a good chance to try to get big in the west and America, and as an opportunity to do stuff now because Taemin is the only active SHINee member, members of EXO starting to enlist, and NCT 127 are already gaining popularity here, etc. Of course I have concerns for the members and their groups, but there's nothing we can really do, especially since by the time SM announced SuperM to the public everything had pretty much already been done and set. I'm curious to see if they're going to come out with something else before or during their tour because for the way SM has been hyping and promoting the group, I wanted more. I want more. The mini-album is so short and overall feels like it's leading to something. I still feel like I'm anticipating something. Not that it's disappointing or underwhelming, but if they don't come out with something else in the near future it may start to feel that way. Plus, they are supposed to have a collaboration with Marvel, which I know nothing about other than that there's going to be a collab, so there's that. Whatever that will be.

1. American debut because this is a partnership project with Capitol Records who specifically requested this of SM - $$$ 2. The M is supposed to stand for "Matrix&Master" which represents the "super synergy between the members" 3. The members and their original groups/individual activities are unbothered and will go on simultaneously as everything's scheduled around it 4. American debut but aside from mostly English lyrics in this title track it's not supposed to completely cater to American mainstream taste but instead carry over and represent K-Pop in its' peak form 5. Remember this is meant to be a Performance song and not a typical easy-to-jam-with-at-any-time or music-industry-elevating song; that's not what they're particularly aiming for LOL Check out the rest of the songs and performances; vibes from SHINee, EXO, and NCT(+WayV) in 1 album we love it

I was hella impressed with the line and camera time distribution. That's insanely tough from a production perspective, with a group like this, where everyone will be crying to get their fave more lines and screen time. The album is really good too! I 100 percent stan. Loved the song. It's a bop for sure. Kinda catchy. For ME it is Kai all the way. He shines on stage. He stands out the most. Best dancer, I love his voice, his rapping, his sultry looks (no one does it like Kai) he is sexy as can be...no one compares to him in this girls eyes. I was at the concerts and HE brought the house down with his solo, Confession. The second he came up out of the floor the whole place erupted! Everyone went crazy, lost their minds! I cannot wait to see him perform his new solo, Spoiler live. I am sure it will be just as wonderful....he was awesome!

Fully agree with you! Btw, Lucas was in a Law of the Jungle episode. You might want to check it out. It was fun! As for SuperM, it's just a "subunit". Created by request of Capitol Records for US promotion. The regular groups will continue like before after their members finish military service, also NCT members remain NCT members. Nothing changes, they just got more work :P. Also Capitol signed a deal with SM for promotion and distribution for NCT prior to SuperM. I think NCT's World Tour was also aided by Capitol if not mainly financed. So I don't think they'd have invalidated that by messing up NCT, by removing the leader and both main rappers. Basically Super M is a good way(I guess in the eyes of Capitol and SM) to keep some people(EXO,Shinee not in military) occupied in the meantime with more impact than their individual solos or subunit work would have had. Mark and Taeyong were better choices I guess for appealing to US market. Mark definitely since he got swag and he's also a native speaker

From what I've read, WayV is coming back soon. I think it was for this month but there's no confirmation about it. BUT Kun did said that there'll be a song fully English. I really like this song since it came out but I'm kinda disappointed. WayV debuted this year and for them to be a break or "hiatus" due to Lucas and Ten being in this group is sorta of messed up...
