Great filmmaking. I would have never noticed the compositing layering. This is SO impressive!

Small brain: "I need an army of Tahnoks, I'll just buy a few from the internet" Big brain: "I need an army of Tahnoks, I'll use one and composite him in a bunch of times"

Ha! Back in 2013 I was thinking "I just bought FXHome Composite Lab Pro and I'm gonna get my money's worth out of it"

I'm glad this was helpful! However, I wouldn't recommend doing as many effects as I did because it took longer for me to do post-production than it took to film the animation (almost every shot needed some rotoscoping, background replacement, or image stabilization in addition to the things I showed in the video).

Animating a Bohrok Va is a real pain because it's really hard to make them walk (their feet just pivot) or have them interact with things (their arms just swivel around). :P
@Roncace9 жыл бұрын
at 00:51 how did you animate the bohrok va's arms without causing the the tray where the Krana sits to move?

Congratulation to your hard work! It was a great animation, and I let you know, that you did not wasted your time for this, because it ended up being a great, and funny animation!

What do you mean by a whole series? I was planning on doing tutorials of things like animation techniques, which software is good, and what gear is best.

Roncace Can that soldering stand that you used on the tahnok va hold up the Bohrok as well if you want to make it walk?
@TheBohrokMan9 жыл бұрын
Roncace Absolutely, I use the soldering stand all the time for a lot of different things.
@Roncace9 жыл бұрын
where do you usually attach it when trying to animate the figure
@KodiakCaptures7 жыл бұрын
How did you make the soldering stand green? What spray paint did you use?
@Aidex10611 жыл бұрын
you should do a whole series but I guess that would take time so nevermind

What are the raw materials used to make them fly or jump?
@TheBohrokMan4 жыл бұрын
I used "helping hands" to hold up any characters while flying or jumping, but it also works to use aluminum wire or anything else you have handy. Thanks for the question!
@altrizon33094 жыл бұрын
@@TheBohrokMan thank you, so where do I buy those and the green stuff covering them?
@altrizon33094 жыл бұрын
And what type of ‘helping hands’ are these?
@TheBohrokMan4 жыл бұрын
@@altrizon3309 I don't remember exactly what kind of helping hands I used, but they are all pretty much the same. You can get them on amazon, ebay, or even in stores like Microcenter - here's one for example: amzn.to/3oG6QKR. If I remember correctly, the green stuff is just construction paper. Any kind of green paper should work well!
