The Twins' murders were the natural end to very long lives of crime. The prison sentence they received was exactly right: society deserved a rest from their activities.

Both the Krays and the Legend movie depict a gruesome scene of Jack McVitie getting stabbed. I'd say both Ronnie and Reggie were unstable at this point and you are right they could have just kicked him out the firm instead of taking his life. Great content btw

Jacks Killing has many different variables. But thanks Rich, you have so well researched all available factual evidence on the Jack the Hat saga. There is a video on youtube, where a reporter and a psychic get in touch with the Krays 'beyond the grave'. The Psychic certainly deserves merit. In one of the vids, Reg reported from the Spiritual world, that Jack lived longer than he should have, by the twins standards.

Great video as always Rich, keep them coming please. Finished reading Albert Donaghue's book yesterday. He wrote that most members of "The Firm" felt they could have been murdered simply because of Ron Kray's mood swings. Could have been Whitehead, Bender, Barrie, Donaghue, Dickson Et al. Mcvitie was just at the wrong place, wrong time. It could have been anyone in their circle.

@stephentucker4433
@stephentucker4433 4 жыл бұрын
@@brionjrehamilton5546 I think if you have a paranoid schizophrenic, who has risen to be a gang leader of a part of London and also by many accounts enjoys inflicting violence on people and has a fascination with murder, it would have been to put things mildly: a stressful situation if Ron Kray was your boss. One of the oft told tales is that you could say something to Ron Kray one day and he would laugh, but say the same thing to him the next day and you would be worried about your physical safety. That's what I meant by mood swings. Was fun to answer your question. Thanks Brionjre.

Great video Rich, I can't see that Tony Lambriano would have known Jack was going to be murdered, simply because I doubt even the twins knew initially. As in no plans were made to dispose of the body, there were too many witnesses etc. It makes sense that perhaps Jack was to be given a warning or a hiding. Which I'm sure Tony would have been aware of, even if it wasn't directly said to him. He wasn't stupid and sure he'd probably known or realised the twins attitude towards Jack at that time. But being a fringe member and probably trying to impress or please the twins obliged in their demands. It was known that Reg was in a dark place and on a mixture of booze and pills with his violent nature plus being dominated by his twin it's easy to see how things got out of hand and sadly a man lost his life.
@Richie2015
@Richie2015 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Wayne. It is very debatable what Tony knew and what he didn't know. I think Tony being a friend of Jack could have warned him either way though. There is no doubt it was a sticky situation for Tony. Maybe he was scared for himself and his brother if he went back to the party without Jack?
@waynemorris1030
@waynemorris1030 2 жыл бұрын
@@Richie2015 I Believe there were other situations at different times where members of the firm had been sent away to bring back someone to allegedly get shot or beaten, and they'd either warned the 'guy' off or simply said they couldn't find him. Then it would be forgotten about as the mood changed or a different someone had then became their new focus. Perhaps If Tony had have warned Jack in this manner like you say then it may well have saved him? It is all interesting isn't it. I didn't know any of the brothers, I'm not from Bethnal Green and they were in prison before I was born. I do know the area fairly well from the many visits to old Kray haunts over the years with my wife. I bought one of Eddie Richardson's paintings off him some years ago now, and we spent a few hours having lunch with him chatting about the past, that was very interesting.

To turn up at a club, possibly the regency, such a short time after Reg lost Francis and discharge a firearm at the door was quite simply suicide. Reg was in a bad frame of mind and being manipulated by Ron obviously and Jack was capable of murdering him. If it hadn't happened that night it would have eventually happened, Reg said that on his death bed. Wherever jacks eternal whereabouts I don't think he will have any hard feelings, kill or be killed and he got killed, just my opinion, great channel btw
