I remember the Krays coming into one of the Bardon’s stores (Bethnal Green) in the 1960’s they weren’t gangsters they were thugs and that’s being polite.

Night and day difference. You can be a drug dealer, armed robber, hitman, etc and that doesn't make you a gangsters. You become a gangster when your a pitiless killer who does business with a gun in their right hand with their left out stuck out expecting to be paid at the same time.

When you translate it to its original meaning, it's closer to "chosen and not chosen" rather than "love and hate." So it's not that God doesn't "love" everyone... It's that God doesn't "choose" everyone.

The Krays were little league thugs. They weren't gangsters at all. The entire set of old school British gangsters were a joke.
