"Square" doesnt really imply "goofy" or "nerdy". It means someone who plays it safe or is unadventurous. They don't take risks or have much "fun". In comparison to someone who parties all the time and blows their money on drugs, drinks, women, etc... anyone living an average life could be called a "square" 😂

I think everyone keeps talking about Will’s emotions being out of control. But I also think we need to acknowledge that Will’s impulses are becoming more prevalent. When you’re impulsive, you say damn to the consequences. That look she gave Will after she turned to him was a Green light to him IMPULSIVELY to do something. He’s not dumb. He may be emotional. But more dangerous than anything is that it looks like he’s becoming more impulsive.

WOW! There is definitely a disconnect on the reality between the single in-house co-parent and out-of-house Co-parent and lack there of. The lady in the clip did a poor job at basically speaking on the fact that responsibility is more optional and convenient for the out of house parent and the in house parent must 100% be on point at every point at all times no matter what. So when the other co-parent is not dependable as the only other parent you take all responsibilities instead of gambling outcomes.

I think the cool guy is jealous of the square sometimes. If the square is like Russ with a fire chick and stable family. A lot of men are jealous of their baby mother when she gets with a “nice guy” and no longer pays him attention. I see it everyday. Especially if that nice guy has money too. I absolutely agree. If can be honest, Black men have to fix their own image. If an outstanding man like Russell Wilson can be regarded as a simp then lord help you. In every other community Russell Wilson will be respected but only in the black community do we refer to good men as simps. This further exacerbates that a good portion of black people don’t know what love looks like without toxicity. My Biggest takeaway from the Russell corny convo was when ol boy said women want peace.......at that moment I knew he didnt know nothing about women. Women crave chaos, it makes them feel alive. you can be the perfect dude and anticipate her every need and she will get bored of your ass, but if you are unpredictable and a little toxic, she will never leave you.
@HollyG952 жыл бұрын
I think age matters when saying this. How old or you? And some women this is true but not all or majority imo. If a woman just had hella chaos I believe she would want peace now if she hasn’t had chaos then maybe she still chasing it thinking that’s what life is about but that’s young people thinking not a mature woman thinking.
@maajuub1012 жыл бұрын
@@HollyG95 I can agree it can be an age diference but I will rebutal that the age that women may choose peace is later in life. If we take the woman who is the topic is based on, we see her after a couple years of what looked like a peaceful relationship now back out here twerking and etc. The same thing she was doing to attract a Future while she is with Russell a god fearing man who i am sure doesnt want that type of attention. @maajuub1012 жыл бұрын
@@HollyG95 This whole thing is assumptions based in experience and observation, at least from my side. I am still standing on what I said, as a generalization I think most women are socialized to want chaos (antimonotony) the reason why i was willing to agree that age may play a factor was because I think it has to do with how women have been socialized in younger generations, not because they choose peace later in life intrinsically, so dont drag me to your agrument. I think you can want something but deny yourself of it because you know it doesnt do you any good. That does not mean that you do not want it.
@HollyG952 жыл бұрын
@@maajuub101 yea but u keep making my point and acting like u ain’t making it. Doesn’t matter why a woman chooses to be toxic when young and settle down with someone “stable” in later years. The fact is most time that’s how it is with women and men. It’s only a few outliers. And if someone doesn’t want toxicity because they know it doesn’t do them any good is why people make this mistake early in life. They don’t know better. I’m always confused about where men supposed to be leading women to 😭 or how..? And why would a man feel the need to “lead” a woman? Why not focus on leading himself and his offspring if he has any… Or Lead the younger men in the community. A woman who sees value in what the man is doing will just naturally be willing to help but I don’t think she would need to be led to do so.
@mbonds442 жыл бұрын
Because the men is the leader in literally every community on this planet. So if the community is out of line and the women don’t follow the men in the community then that is a direct reflection of the men in said community. The black community is ass backwards in nearly every way and we wonder why we are behind in all aspects of life

As black men, I don’t think y’all should encourage or condone in any capacity, the assault against a fellow black man. That was a completely unscrupulous incident and Chris rock was violated in front of the world. If you guys don’t see how this will in turn affect you all in time because those upper echelon black men definitely encapsulate the masses of black men, then you’re tripping. We deal w enough senseless violence and this has opened doors to allow it in venues where it would have otherwise been unspoken of. God forbid our safe places be marred by ourselves and then where will we go if we massively become what we run from, avoid, work to be above?? Grow up. It wouldn’t be comical or debatable if one of your brethren listeners lurked for you because of something you say. Don’t further victimize Chris rock. Embrace your brother in love and move forward. Edit: I expect childish folly from women circles but men should be the standard.

Look, I like the podcast, but y’all saying the same things or reporting on the same things other people are reporting on. Heck even the advice on women is more common sense than anything. It isn’t original. But if you are getting views and stuff, what am I to say? If you don’t have haters then you are doing something wrong. As for Russ, well he does have haters because he is simply different. Maybe he might get the Will Smith treatment from his wife when he is older. Maybe he is seen as corny because of his mannerisms, because NBA Youngboy is taking care of a child that isn’t his (baby mamma lied) and isn’t getting flak. But I bet you that Russ will be in a stronger position of power than Future after he retires and/if he decides to go into politics and uplift the position of Black people as more than just what we are viewed in society. All this talk of black solidarity, but if the black person is different, he is vilified. Guess if he doesn’t act a certain way, he isn’t “black enough” for y’all gatekeepers. Crabs in a barrel…..
