I was born and raised in North London. My household didn't follow football. In 93 my primary school classmates were getting excited about the cup finals. Everyone was talking about supporting Arsenal. So, I decided to join in and follow Arsenal. Totally randomly people started asking the teacher if he was going to be supporting Arsenal. He said "no, because I support..." and he opened his jacket and had a Sheffield Wednesday shirt on underneath! Mad coincidence, especially in North London. Anyway, I finally got super fanatical about football in 96 when England were hosting the Euros and Tony Adams was captain.

Arsenal fans were not blaming the Kroneke’s last season after a progressive season. No one was Kroneke out last season. But since Arsenal’s expectations have risen and their progress for signings and team arsenal fans are now turning on the Kroneke’s mainly. The Kroneke’s have back Arteta and Edu but they have not delivered on the pitch. Arsenal fans use Chelsea as examples saying they spent 1 billion and should do better which is truthful but they’re in a cup final and have the chance to lift silverware. Arsenal fans said this about Man Utd’s Ten Hag who spent £400 million across 18 months and have criticised him and the players more than the Glazers. Saying it’s not the glazers who control the pitch side. So things must be said the same. Kroneke’s are not at fault for how Arsenal have been on the pitch. 🤷🏾‍♂️ (I am not an Arsenal fan). Since the FA Cup success you had, you spent £700 million to show no success for it. Whilst, Man Utd and Chelsea during very bad phases have won trophies and have better chances to win than Arsenal.

As a Utd fan looking in from the outside, I don’t know how you can give the Kroenke’s credit if you win the league. Yes they gave Arteta & Edu money, but they also failed for over a decade. So in my eyes, they are at least 4-5 PL titles in the negative that they could have won if they acted right from the start. That means until Arsenal win 4-5 titles, then they can come back from being in a negative in terms of ‘Credit in the Bank’. Also, being an owner isn’t just about money. as you can see from the Glazers, it’s about debt, dividends, making the right appointments, academy etc. If Edu fails at his job but the Kroenke’s don’t get rid or if Arsenal’s CEO fails and they don’t get rid then that is also a bad mark on the owners. The same way the Glazers refused to get rid of Ed Woodward for years

Liverpool lost a CL final, regrouped & went again to win it, that could have been us. Chelsea have won 2 CL and yet we’re still waiting for our first major trophy in 20 years, not good enough. Re @22:00 Who would Arsenal have replaced Wenger with and what league winning players would Arsenal have bought with their limited budget? Look at United and Chelsea as prime examples bigger budgets yet inconsistent. Tottenham too! They have spent massive amounts of money, invested billions and the results have not come for them. The reality is Chelsea are only a tranfer season or two away from a title challenge but they will then drop down the table. Tottenham have imho some of the most savvy financial owners in the league but they too have taken massive gambles and taken on a lot of risk. Deoending on how thr stadium has been financed, increasing interest rates etc Tottenham could have a decade or more of regression. United what's their excuse? They are the biggest club in the world and have gone through a decade of stagnation. Theu now have new partial ownership but that in itself will have negative consequences. They have a massive staidum project to consider all the while damaging and risking their core product. City will eventually lose Pep and who knows what will happen with the FFP investigation. Arsenal have had the least heppful but leaat danaging owbership of the top teams. At the very least the Kroenke's have done nothing. When I look back at the last 20 years I don't see it as all bad. I understand the context and the effect of Chelsea, United and City. Stability vs Investment.
