Taeyong Lee Honestly I also think the MV looks a bit off. I's kinda hard to explain but it doesn't have to do with the concept and look but instead the actual camera angles; timing; how the shots are taken.... that sort of thing. They don't seem to match up to the music very well 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm really looking forward to seeing more of them though, the girls themselves really shine and make this MV 💕

b yeah I like the actual shots and effects but as someone who is studying video production and wants to become a music video director I feel that the actual timing of things should always fit with the music. Aaaa it's hard to explain but as I said it has nothing to do with aesthetic but the execution 😖

b well I was a student for 1 year at college but now I'm self learning from KZbin (I've learn't more from on here than I ever did at college 😂) also I focused on the actual aesthetics and plot more than anything! Ok I'll try and explain as best as I can but don't expect anything amazing because I'm lazy af and ain't bout to write an essay 😂 1. 1:44 : feel like that could have used a more interesting / tension raising shot for the build up rather than a boring close up that doesn't hype me up at all 2. 1:53 : shot was cut too early, should have waited till she had finished saying the word 3. 2:46 : idk why these car shots bothers me. Just kinda boring with the angles I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ 4. 2:52 : would have looked better with an artistic shot rather than one from the dance parts (like it's just her walking so whats the point?) Also the nananana bon bon chocolat dance breaks like at 3:20 are the same each time with only slight variation. I think if would have been a lot more impactful / interesting to change up the shots / not focused on the dance for at least one out of the 3 times they do it as it looks repetitive. Hope that can help you understand my view point 😊

I'm an audiovisual student too and I was like 'oh, ok, this doesn't bother me but it doesn't match that well (which is a shame since all of the sets are super gorg)'; also, idk why but I felt like the jump between light to light in that exact part was a little off/ weird too. Still, I found this MV so nice and so pleasant, we have a lot of things to see so I'm really excited about this group's future! BTW, maybe we feel like this is not a conventional way of editing (at least not in all the parts) because this wasn't just rhythmic, sometimes I even felt that it was a metric one? Idk, lol.

So yuehua collaborates with other companies too. For example, the Chinese members in WJSN are/were Yuehua trainees and WJSN was a collaboration between Starship and Yuehua. Yuehua is slowly expanding into Korea, like how UNIQ used to practice at YG's building and one member is really good friends with WINNER. Yuehua produced a boygroup called Nex7 and they are the RAGE IN CHINA RN. Everglow is iconic in the way that this is a Chinese label, chartering into Kpop. Just so you know Everglow is actually under very well known Chinese company called Yuehua entertainment which also made group called Uniq which they promoted in China and South Korea as well. One member form Uniq also wrote a song for idol producer which is show like producer 48 and mixnine shows like that . Also also trainee’s from company are Chinese survival shows like idol producer , idol producer season 2 & all for one which the show that NCT Chinese group WayV is on . So from what I've observed from this MV is that the girls is on a track. See how everyone is on a vehicle and only Onda is running on foot just as she's about to in @1:36, Yiren is on a horse, Aisha EU and Sihyeon is on the car while Mia is on a motorbike. That concept makes me think that its a foreshadowing on who's gonna be the favorite, like the 3 riding the car is just "EEEEEHHH" good but not great, while Yiren is on a horse because she's the only one who's not korean. I mean, it is just concept and my interpretation might be wrong. Though I don't hate Mia, I actually think she is the Nicole Scherzinger of the group. They should give more screentime on other members too. I don't know if this is the case but I think this the one of the underrated reasons as to why girl groups disband in the first place. Members got overshadowed by the most famous, talented ones. For example Chung Ha and Somi are the two best on their group, and now having great solos. Seeing Adios and Dun Dun, bops after bops. It would break my heart if this group would disband right away. Bon Bon, is just a perfect song for me. The duality of it. Mia and Aisha bias here.

still think this is one of the best kpop debuts of all time. they came in strong and keep coming back strong. it’s incredible, nice to see the company of UNIQ is giving us a nice girl group after that whole thing didn’t work out 😭 at least we have MDZS the way it is now haha. good stuff
