GOD I feel like there's nothing to dislike about this comeback! The styling, the mv, the song, everything. It's so pleasing to the ear. I always said that I understand if people dislike Why Not, So What, and PTT (though I personally loved them), but this song is so soothing and fresh and FUN that I can't comprehend anyone finding any flaws here. This song reminds me of Lovelyz, early Gfriend and Apink but updated and done in Loona's way. It is perfect for summer and having fun. It is catchy and easy to listen to. People need to lighten up and stop holding Loona to some insane standard when most kpop groups are not held anywhere close to the same standard.

I'm obsessed with this album, just obsessed. Seeing some people's comments I just want to say this: People always want more and more from Loona but will accept dog shit "music" from certain other groups, there's just no pleasing them. Being a pre-debut stan, Loona constantly outdoes their previous comebacks and they always deliver. Watching them grow has really been something I can't put into words. My ults are loona and exo for a reason, they don't shy away from trying new sounds and continuing to improve themselves always and it shows in each comeback.

I've been quite vocal about wanting more from Loona on social media and stuff, not sure if you happened to run into some of my comments before and it made you say this but I would like to elaborate if that's the case or if it even represents anyone else with a similar perspective of Loona. But first of all know that I do not accept dogshit music from certain other groups, Aespa and Nmixx fanbases want me fucking dead for explaining in detail why Next Level and O.O are aberrations (so is Tank, and Savage, and Icecream from Blackpink, and the list goes on). Anyway, why I want more from Loona is not in a sense of "they are not doing well", it's in the sense of "they are obviously good but their potential is not used to the fullest". It's not about the members, it's mostly about their production. I feel like whoever they work with is often short sighted or doesn't have proper direction or understanding of what can be done. The perfect example of this is during Queendom when we see the behind the scene footage before they perform Butterfly, there's a scene where Haseul and Yves (iirc) reviewing the rearrangement of the song and talking to the producer, they tell him that the song is lacking in some places, or something along those lines implying it's kinda flat. Once the producers reworked it, they were happy cuz it was better, but it was still not enough and they were criticized exactly for that after their performance. This is obviously nit picking, but that's what art work looks like at a higher level, you polish the details, because the rest is solid. I want more from them because they are at that level of quality and when I say I want more it's because I like it, but that doesn't mean it can't be improved. Perfection doesn't exist.

the actual dark undertone of this summer release is, while it did convey happy and cheery vibes, it is set as a story of the girls dreaming of summertime. At what point did they dream? while on their way to somewhere on a train. So this is the moon girls dreaming of summertime. Commemorating Haseul's comeback, I think the lore here is they are about to continue the story back to Eden, but this time, Haseul is there to continue the story further as a complete team. They close the MV with "eerything flipped", which might actually referring to the debut era, notice the carol reference also there, as a reminder that this summer release were actually treated as a "holiday unit" release. The song is on par with big names of summer girl group queens in the last, at least, 5 years. Departing from the marching anthem of Paint The Town, they actually kind of hinted at these flowery themes in PTT MV too.

I got into Loona during So What era. I was obsessed with SoWhat and it made me fall into the predebut rabbit hole and watch everything in order, which obviously made me fall in love with Loona. I was personally a little bit dissapointed that PTT was a sharp dark concept again, and I don't love CGI-heavy MVs, so I was hoping for a comeback like FlipThat. It's so refreshing to watch them go back to this Loona 1/3 world of nostalgia and purity. It's like the lore of the MV is about making a fresh start and that's what the song feels like. I am always and forever a "girl groups with boy group concepts" kind of fan, but this comeback is a 10/10.

When asked about the choreo, the girls said it's easy with an easy hook part but the whole performance is busy with the formations. I didn't want to watch their showcase stages alot so i can ravish the music show performances but man, it's definitely not the hardest but it's probably one of the prettiest performances with intricate framing and transitions. And the fact that loona practiced this side by side with pose-two contrasting dancing style and very opposite vibe.

I really like this song, it’s so catchy. I’m still trying to figure out the secondary genre. It would be in Dancehall but production rearranged the segments. It has as the 4 on Floor beat, the popular overused drum sample, instead of using the standard wind instrument sample they used a high pitched ethereal keyed sample. I just placed it in EDM for now.

7:46 didnt realize til this moment, but the difference in prechorus can be interpreted as a reversal of instrumentation, as opposed to a length change. in the first verse, "whoa nanana" (2:37) maintains the drumline and it only drops out at "가만히 날 이끄는," so we only perceive the latter 4 bars as prechorus. in the second verse though, the drumline drops out at whoa nanana and returns quietly at 가만히 날. if you take the percussion as the marker for the prechorus then that would mean the second prechorus is longer, yes, but i thought it was an interesting detail that the second whoa nanana was incorporated into the prechorus. and if we interpret the first whoa nanana as prechorus, then adding the percussion back at the second 가만히 날 does suggest that the roles of the two 4-bar sections have been flipped

hehe i knew you would love this. my opinion is the same as yours, the song is great and super catchy and as much as i liked their past title tracks, i've been wanting to see them do something less girl crush-ish and do something fun or cute and i think this makes the cut. regarding the mv, i think it's really good and it fits the song. it might be their most simple mv until now but i think that's because this is a summer comeback. it's not like a burning moon or a meteor shower would've fit this song lol. it's simple but it's good enough. and the album is amazing. need u is such an interesting song and pale blue dot is a very excellent chill summer song. overall, i loved this comeback. i give it a 10/10, it's so refreshing after 3 girl crush comebacks and i'm really excited to see what they'll do next
