My first wrestling toy was a wrestling ring that featured a removable plastic/steel cage. In the set featured two “bendie” figures (Hulk Hogan and the Iron Sheik). The Sheik was entertaining. May he Rest In Peace!!

Even in Iron sheiks hall of fame speech he mentions at the end he is the Iron sheik figure and he flexs his muscle like the ljn figure. That's his favorite one as well, mine to.

Love that iconic Iron Sheik figure from the 80's. Bought that figure for my dad as a get well gift after a heart surgery he had when I was just a little boy. I wanted him to know I thought he was strong and would recover fast just like the Iron Sheik. What wonderful fond memories I have from that figure. He loved it, too. Thought it was funny.

I missed those early Mattels but what tremendous figures. The LJN will always be my favorite. It was my first wrestling figure along with Nikolai. Great to play with. Mine's beaten up but I still have it. After that I'd go Retrofest. The Clubs were so good to get. The Classic Superstars next and I'm a big fan of the Mattel Retro. I'd love a Coliseum Video Sheik. Paired with Nikolai hopefully although yeah, Hogan is more likely.

Great list! I would love to see him in the Coliseum Collection. I hope someday soon we’ll get a figure of him with the big green belt. I also will always think of those boots as “Iron Sheik” boots. I always liked the Jakks Classic Superstars 26. The torso was too trim, but for some reason I liked the look of it. The LJN is iconic. I got him the same day I got Hulk when I was about 6 years old. I had to have someone for Hulk to fight, and there was no one better than the guy he beat for the title.

I am literally looking at the documentary right now on this fascinating man the battles he conquered outside of the ring makes him a superhero in my book he is responsible for booming wrestling in the 80s Bob backlund hand picked this man to give the belt to over hogan

The only Iron Sheik figure I have is still my LJN one ! But I woud love to have your #5 or #4 on that list . I know im dreaming but I would LOVE to see an Elite version of The ORIGINAL Sheik in a two pack with Abdullah or Sabu !!

I was always a fan of the Jakks Deluxe Classic Superstars Sheik. It was just a bizarre depiction with that overly muscular body. But my #1 would be the ol' Thumb Wrestler from '85ish.
