I have the Steampod and I HAD the Dyson Corrale. Steampod blows the Corrale out of the water! I returned the Corrale. I'm a flat iron junky and have owned many high end irons through the years and this Steampod is my absolute favorite. I always reach for it and the results are always amazing. I have natural very dry coily hair.

Hey Regina!! I'm so glad you joined me in the premiere. We are doing some of the same things with our hair; it's like we are kindred hair spirits. You know I was checking for the burnt smell, but my hair smelled like the products I used before straightening. I was surprised by how sleek and feathery it was. Now, the Steampod is a flat iron, but to my understanding, some of the heat to straighten the hair comes from the steam. I straightened my hair last Sunday, and I will make this last another week. I have never heard of this straighter. Looks like it did the job. I like that they are a larger plate. Amazing what steam can do. Your hair is so full and thick. Lovely results.

I love that I only need to do one pass and that the steampod has a removable comb attached to the iron. Hey Ms. Shirley! Check out the reviews of other natural-haired ladies using it and check the reviews on Ulta. It's not many (natural-haired videos) on YT, but if you search you'll see Karina Waldron using it - she convinced me to try it - and she even has a YT short showing how she refreshes her hair. It's one of the best straighteners I've tried this far and I think it is better for textured hair. If you talk your daughter into buying it let me know how you all like it. Have a great week!🤗💕🌻

Hi! No, I didn't get any heat damage using this tool. It has three temperature settings (350, 390, 410) and I use 390. Properly preparing the hair for flat ironing and using the right temperature for your hair texture is key to avoiding heat damage. Take care!! 🤗🌻
