I assume you're thinking of those who won WOD S2. But The Lab is a whole big community, comprised of lots of members (many more than that group of 15 who took part in NBC's show). It's just that they have various commitments and choose people who represent them at certain events (including competitions where there's an age limit).

That's why so many people who know them only from WOD think that's not The Lab anymore/the members are different/some of them left the team etc.
