This is not a political issue; it's a fundamental labor standard. It's mandated by law in Nigeria for labor to renegotiate it every five years. The demand of 490,000 by the Labour is unrealistic, I expect labour to start fighting for emoluments harmonization whereby political office holders like the senators and Reps emoluments cut down to augment for other civil servants. The executive should also seriously work towards sealing. loopholes of corruption in civil service and parastatals. Our problem in Nigeria is not just the politicians but also civil servants are major enablers to politicians in looting.
