Hi Bruce, Hi Otis. Yes we are blessed with having all this just I’ve an hour up the road. I’m glad you enjoyed the views as much as I did. Just wish they came across as impressive on the photos as they do to the naked eye. All the best 😃🥾⛰🇨🇦🏴

Has to be my favourite horseshow in the lakes and not been on any of them for a couple of years now, so looking forwards to getting these last few Wainwrights knocked off next year so I can get back to getting back on some of these great summits. Cheers Alan

Hi Alan, yeah it’s a belter and after the initial steep pull once up it’s pretty easy walking. There is some magnificent views to be had if you have the weather like I did. All the best mate, hope you had a great weekend. 🥾⛰👍😃

@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad Good evening Alistair, there was a couple of new ones for me. I’d done Grasmoor before but never come down over Lad Hows. It was a little sketchy at the top, but once the scree finished and you get on to the grass it was a doddle. All the best mate, enjoy the rest of the weekend.

@@DAoutdoors No worries. I was there 3 days. Scafell Pike first, those two with Butchy and then Cat Bells. Loved it there. I'll do the Scaffel Pike one first I can't wait to go back. I got a few in Wales first then the Shropshire Hills.👍

Hi Dave, We caught up with your adventures on the telly at the weekend 🤩👊. Blimey, you must live on weather apps recently😂. Every video has been clear skies and beautiful summits! This one looked like another belter ⛰️🤗. Steep climbs, but always worth it for those views! Lovely stuff, and another round for our list too 👍 Cheers Pete and Shell 😊👊👍

Hi Guys, haha, yes I have been deliberately selecting days when the forecast has been good, and fair play they actually have been getting it correct. I’d done Grasmoor before it was blowing a hoolie, lashing it down with rain and I saw naff all so it was nice to get the full 360 from the summit. The last time I walked down the valley of Gasgale Gill, which I could highly recommend but it was nice to be able to look down in to it. It seems your list of routes is getting longer and longer. 🤣🤣 All the best guys and as always, thank you so much for taking time to watch. Cheers 😃🏕️⛰🥾

Great hike that Dave with some good pics. Looked steep getting up Whiteside. We did Hopegill head from Braithwaite. Funny as we both kept forgetting its name on the video 😂
@DAoutdoors2 ай бұрын
It’s a steep pull up whiteside but before you know it you’re there and then the walk along to Hopegill head is a breeze. I’d done Grisedale Pile too from Braithwaite, if I remember that’s a pretty steep affair too. Thanks as ever for watching and your support it means a lot. 👍🥾⛰

@@tubbatravels Hi Niall, I loved this walk. Yeah it’s a steep start but once on Whiteside summit it’s an easy walk over to Hopegill Head, and beyond to Grisedale Pike. The views from Grasmoor are amazing down to Crummock Water and left to Buttermere. It’s one is definitely recommend the next time you are up this way. Have a great weekend, and as always thank you so much for taking time out of your day to watch. 😀🥾⛰🏕️

Hi Dave, so many times I have passed those mountains and never hiked up any of them. There was about 100 yards at the end that we've walked on going to the bluebells at Rannerdale Knotts. Looked like your path down to the road was a bit sketchy in places but the views you got were brilliant. Very tough hike i'd say with all the ups and downs but you made it look easy. Regards, Ashley

@@ashleyjarnold Hi Ashley. I ticked off a couple of new ones. I’d done Grisedale Pike and Grassmoor before, but they were in the clag so nice to see the magical views from the summits. The path down Lad Hows is very sketchy at the top as it’s scree but once you get on to the grass it’s fine. We could see where the bluebells below Rannerdale Knotts would be. I’ll have to check that out next year. To be honest once on the ridge at Whiteside it’s easy walking over to Grisedale Pike and back over to Grassmore. All the best mate and thanks for watching. 😀⛰🥾👍
