Not only that, the Lakers play better without LeBron; we seen this in the regular season. LeBron does not make teammates better; he defers to them intermittently, especially when in clutch moments. Moving Ham and D'lo aside, one thing that gets more and more noticeable is that the Lakers don't actually play as a team. There doesn't seem to be much chemistry overall and the first thing you hear and see from every loss is blaming and finger pointing. There is no 'we can do better' and almost never 'I should work on.' In an environment like that, I'm honestly not surprised at all that the role players are just giving up. This is especially so if they are learning that behaviour from seeing certain individuals on the team. This has also transitioned to current day Laker fans. It's less about all being on the same bus and more arguing who should go under the bus. It's a damn shame too remembering the legacy of the Lakers with Kareem's era, Magic's era and Kobe/Shaq's. Regardless of Lebron's ability and physicality, I believe that his mindset and priorities have led to this team dynamic. The Lakers would be better without Lebron and that was noticeable considering how well they did with only the role players vs the Celtics. You guys can do better and should move on from this.

Man i know everyone gonna point to coaching but its not that. Here's the truth, if you watch the game. The Lakers have no chemistry on either end. The only time they do is when Lebron is not playing. Every one of those guys are capable of much more yhen whats being displayed this series. We've seen it. DLo cant get in synch because hes the point but Lebron plays point too and he has the ball more often. After Lebron passes, he often stands around, no cutting, no screens. If he does set a screen, he drifts thru screens like nobodies business which leaves him out of position every time he sets a screen. Its hard to have to have and build chemistry when your main guy is standing around all the time. LBJ kills rhythm. On the defensive end, LBJ standing around and ball watching allows Gordon to just roam free, getting back door cuts all game long. Easy lay ups. If you watch this Lakers team, there much better when all the guys get to touch the ball and shot attempts get ditributed more evenly. Then everyone can contribute to the game. Lastly, when LBJ realizes he doesnt have his typical stat line, he just aggressively goes for his and it kills the team. But he only goes for his on the offensive side. Defensively he still just sucks. And we aint even gonna deep on his turnovers. His and AD's turnovers last night allowed Denver to easily destroy the lead they had built last night. I'ma just be honest dude needs to let it go and retire. It'll be better for the Lakers and the league!

It's hard to build a team with LeBron James. If you run your team's offense through him, you need good shooters at the perimeter for his whole gameplay to work. In addition, you need a point guard who plays more like a shooting guard, because LeBron cannot play offball. Most struggle and fail to succeed with LeBron, which I think is a telling sign. I bet you that Spencer Dindwiddie had a better season playing with Luka than LeBron. I think the death blow must have been blowing up nearly the entire championship roster for Russell Westbrook. For sure that championship team in 2020 would not be the same if they tried to keep some of those players, but they would be way better off than they are right now. At least they would have some decent wing players and a better chance to get a true center to better complement AD. You can blame LeGM for this. Now that LeBron James clearly has no impact on winning compared to the other elite players, it's time to accept the fact that he should no longer be the focal point to any team in the NBA, fullstop.
