As a Warriors fan, I wish we had AD bro. He's averaging 32.3 ppg, 13.3 rebounds, and 10 assists per game!!! I wish he was playing for the Warriors so badly. The one and only reason why we lost so many big leads was because we did have not a big man to protect the rim from assaults from other teams. And here the Lakers are wasting this man's prime and not passing him the ball in game 2 fourth quarter and only letting him shoot 1 time.

I've been watching the Nuggets since the 70's, with Thompson, Issel, English, McGinnis, Bobby Jones. And, over the last 50+ years, I've watched the Lakers annihilate the Nuggets - with the refs in 100% whistle support on their 'large-market media center' team. The 80's Lakers with Magic were the WORST. Even now, the Lakers had 3 times the foul shots as the Nuggets in the first game of this series. So, whatever joy we Nuggets fans get, it's been a long time coming.😉

True, and even when someone's struggling, the rest of the team still give them chances. Game 2 Murray was clearly struggling for 2 quarter straight, but they kept trusting him and giving him the ball (frustratingly so) until he finally started getting hot on the 4th quarter. It's frustrating sometimes but it shows their trust in each other.

As a Nuggets fan I hated the lakers for decades with every fiber of my being, I was praying to the basketball gods for a time when my nuggets would own the lakers and basketball gods answered when they brought us this chubby big guy from Serbia who was molded in the mountains of Denver into a god of destruction with a team that runs like a well oiled machine that owns the lakers and the rest of the league, gotta enjoy this time of my nuggets dominating cause they may never come again like this.

After watching the entire game again I have to say the Lakers constantly falling in the floor looking up at the refs instead of getting back up is allowing fast break points for the nuggets (at least 12 points that I saw). Even the most fundamental coaching tells you to keep playing. Continually demanding the refs help out and not playing ball while the other team is actively running down the floor is high school level and hard to watch. Why is it so hard for these modern players to keep their feet? Especially considering how much more athletic they are supposed to be.

It's time for a rebuild for the Lakers. Anthony Davis and LeBron James are the only good players. There's no consistent role players at all, and there's no competent coaching. Darvin ham has no clue how to adjust in the third and fourth quarter, and nor do the role players. The nuggets have a fantastic coach, they have Elite role players that are able to pick up the slack of an inefficient Jamal Murray, or for a foul trouble Nikola jokic. The Lakers don't even have a third consistent star. D LO was 0/7 tonight. I'll repeat that for every Laker fan and for every Denver fan. A grown man with kids, a professional athlete, a starter on the most iconic franchise team, in a playoff game in a must-win matchup scored 0 points. Anthony Davis did not sell, LeBron James did not LeChoke, the Lakers simply have nobody beside them and you can't win anything with just two players. At this point all the Lakers are playing for is for pride. Don't let these people sweep y'all again... you've already lost the Series don't lose your dignity as well. But knowing the coach of the Lakers and the Personnel of the Lakers they are going to have Anthony Davis and LeBron James looking stupid because they simply cannot be consistent and help their franchise players. Thank you for your analyses/reactions which are the best I have seen because you stop the plays and analyze the positions. About the last Lakers game I have the feeling that the analysts have no idea why the other players on the team besides AD and LJ are not performing. They look at the statistics and are sorry for the poor performances of the supporting cast. Beyond LJ's defensive shortcomings, don't you think that above all he doesn't give confidence to the other players? It seems to me that LJ prefers to score points rather than give easy baskets for his teammates. During this time Joker feeds all his teammates and only takes points if he believes it is the best solution and in doing so gives immense confidence to all his teammates.

coming from a hawks/warriors fan, i think a big issue with DLO is that he's not allowed to run point when lebron is on the floor, which doesn't let him get into rhythm with the ball and be the facilitator that he can be. and while i know bron is great at facilitating i feel like the offense would run better if reworked to run through dlo, and that's probably why people are talking about trae going to the lakers since he can not only score himself but he can generate a top 10 offense whether his shot is falling or not. + trae and AD would be a deadly combo that would also allow dlo to run the 2nd unit in a malik monk type of role. the only issue is if bron is staying then darvin ham has to somehow get him to let the pg run the offense most of the time

DLo Still only has one season where his net on/off is positive, and it was like +0.3 . It's infuriating how ge gets blown past on defense, allowing them to hit open jumpers. He'll make boneheaded plays all game long like that and do it so often that it negates his offensive impact, even when he gets hot. He's Fool's Gold. Another thing, Anthony Davis was the only person in this specific game (I’m giving LeBron a pass because he’s 39 and he doesn’t have the same stamina hence why they got all this “depth” if you can even call it that in the beginning of the year) that was doing anything. At one point I saw Anthony Davis in the third-quarter getting quadruple teamed by Michael Porter jr, Jamal Murray, KCP, and Nikola Jokić while four Lakers stood on the perimeter doing nothing. no cutting, no screening for nobody, no calling for the ball, absolutely nothing. And even if Anthony Davis passed the ball they weren’t shooting well at all. The Lakers just need to blow up and rebuild. As crazy as it sounds they need to trade Anthony Davis and LeBron James and collect all them draft picks for the next decade. @16:18 it’s not a perfect example but this is an example I can find in the video. Although prince cut there was like three possessions of this exact thing right here. Anthony Davis is getting quadruple teams in the paint Lakers just stand on the perimeter doing nothing. And it doesn’t even matter cause I can’t make shots anyways. Darvin’s not running offensive actions and Anthony Davis has to throw up something stupid
