Everyone is using the excuse that LeBron is 39 years old, but he's also an All NBA player, so either he doesn't deserve the All NBA recognition because he's too ald and has lost a step, or his age isn't an issue because he's still at that high level and deserves All NBA. So which is it? Is he too old to compete with Denver, and shouldn't be All NBA, or is he still a top player who deserves the All NBA nod?

All NBA is a sportswriter and announcer voted award and a individual award. Not sure what point your trying to make, Lebron's stats warrant all NBA, for the last 24 games of the season for players averaging 28 points or more Lebron was first in FG% at 53 and first in 3 Point FG% at 43. 2023 All NBA had Lebron on the 3rd team, I do not believe the 2024 All NBa is out yet. The remaining portion of your post is referencing how Lebron does on the Lakers and stating it cannot be both. It certainly can be both. He had the stats to garner support for all NBA but is too old to completely carry a team like the Lakers. He is still extemely competitive in spurts but all can see he gets worn down late.

Jason from "Hoops Tonight" (Laker fan), Explained it beautifully after game 1. The Lakers are "Grifters" the "Dark Art" of soccer where you hunt for fouls via flopping, falling down and or grieving to the Refs. It is their strength and weakness. The problem is when they "Don't" get the call they are now consistently out of position in transition Defense and the Nuggets are killing them and is a big part of every Nugget run.

Sick and tired of this same old "fire this coach, get rid of that roleplayer" bs. Y'all really gonna keep turning a blind eye to the big elephant in the room? It don't matter who you bring in as a new coach or supporting cast as long as you're stuck with an uncoachable "superstar" that's too old to play defense any more yet thinks he larger than the team, prone to icing out his teammates due to him needing the ball in his hands all the time in order for him to play the only brand of basketball he knows i.e. the Bron Ball. Sorry he too old now to carry any team on his back much less to the promised land. But can he or is he willing to be coached into playing another brand of bsketball at this stage of his career? Highly doubt it. So enough of making a scapegoat after a scapegoat out of all the coaches to whom Lebron will neither listen nor adapt. And y'all complain how D'Lo sucks, how Rui not contributing, how Lebron don't got enough help. Imagine they were playing for the Nuggets in their system, where the ball moves in and out, left and right, everyone gettings touches, everyone on the same page knowing their job on both ends, no fingers pointed at one another, no one throwing their hands up at the guy standing next on defensive breakdowns, everyone listening to the coach and buying into the system, no one including their leader in Jokic caring about their statlines. Y'all really think the likes of D'Lo and Rui so incompetent they couldn't fit in on that team? Stop blaming the roleplayers no more. Come Playoff time, it's on your star players. They getting paid what they getting paid for a reason. And when y'all gonna start talking about how atrocious Lebron is at off-ball defense? How many times have we seen him give up easy backdoor cuts this series because he was caught ball watching and then nine times outta ten after such defensive letups he turns to one of his teammates all frustrated as if it was their fault. It ain't rocket science why the Lakers been playing the way they have this series. As AD pointed out after the game 2 they have no idea what's going on on both ends most of the time. Why? Cus all they know is defer to playing Bron Ball, standing around on the perimeter freezing their fingers off until Lebron done dribbling the air out of the ball, do his signature head-down bullyball drive followed either by a warcry for a foul call or a grenade out pass with 2 secs left on the shock clock. They don't know how to initiate the offense, lost when it comes to reading the defense, cus they been limited to playing Lebron's spot up / bailout minion roles. Y'all familiar with "Lebron makes his teammates better" tag, right? That aint making your teammates better. If anything, that's stunting your teammates growth and potentials. And that's exactly what seperates Jokic from Lebron as a fascilitator. He don't need 20+ shots a night for himself to be a factor. He puts up 25 pts effortlessly while playing within the system. Last night he took 13 shots and ended up with 24, 15, 9. That directly translates to his teammates having more touches, more plays resulting in their shot attempts, keeping their hands warmed-up throughout the game for timely big shots. He don't need the ball in his hands all the time. He a master of hand-offs and P&R. He don't mind being one of the guys on the perimeter to space the floor and make room for his teammates to initiate and operate and create, not to mention him being pretty deadly from beyond the arc himself for a guy his size. This is how you "get your teammates involved" as opposed to using your teammates as a means to an end for a bailout ticket or assist tally. Imma say this again. You take that Laker bench straight onto the Nuggets roster, I'll bet my ass they more than capable of performing way better than they have submitting to Bron Ball. So enough of pointing the finger at your roleplayers. And the coach too unless you talkin brining in the likes of Pat Riley or Pop who won't take no BS from no players no matter how larger than the game they think they are. But hey, at the end of the day "it's just basketball", right?

Here is a simple fact that everyone doesn't understand. The 2020 Lakers championship team, is the template for the Lakers. That's with AD and Lebron team comp. If their product or team composition is not close to that, they will not win against the Nuggets, or any team with length and size. That 2020 Lakers team has length, size, and athleticism. They also have energy guys, hustle guys, and fire starters. They have high-IQ players. On top of that, they have cheerleaders and motivators on the bench. Then that team also has locker room guys. That's a championship team that wins on their first go. But people somehow just focused on the 3-point shooting stats. Forgetting the fact that it's a make-or-miss for shooters. Also, the fact that that team is newly formed, a new coach, a new system, and no continuity. Yet they are winning and blowing teams up. They would've just kept on getting better and improving and gaining confidence. It was stupid not to keep that team together whole and let them defend the championship...if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So, that's the Lakers team comp template. The Lakers are not gonna win if they don't use that template.
