Hey Victor, thank you so much for your continued work. As a historian myself, I find great encouragement and listening to what you have to say. Especially the fact that you are multidisciplined in knowledge of ancient Greece, as well as World War II and the wars of the modern American 🇺🇸 era. Last week just a day or two before Christmas I think it was you hosted an artist who is speaking on behalf of American culture. that interview was both insightful as well as provoking. I know you were talking about sculpture and art on behalf of the American nation. With a point of view being brought up that that there are no great American works of art being done right now. I apologize if I miss quoting that statement, but I just wanted to point out that in South Dakota there is the crazy horse monument in the Black Hills and it is the largest monument yet under construction in the world. Also, tour guides at this monument center. Will tell you that the outstretched arm of the Great chief is long enough to encompass all four heads of the Mount Rushmore presidents, which are not far away from crazy horse. Could it be Mr. Hanson the reason crazy horses not recognized is because it is a privately funded monument that operates through donation and not government funded as Mount Rushmore was through tax dollars.

I agree need to understand the mining that has to be done to build the EV batteries, here in Australia there are issues with EV batteries catching fire and I can’t afford to buy one and would be worried if it broke down as I hear the cost of parts astronomical. Love Musk he is a genius but not ready to jump in his cars yet.

I agree, test drove a Tesla in 2021. Not sold on the e car driving experience. the lack of engine sound while driving is not helpful. As a driver, I respond to my engine noise when operating my vehicle. The sound of an engine is an important sensory input for a driver.

(20:17) , (24:18) , (24:52) , and my personal favorite on this video of VDH comedy: "sharp as a tack" (25:24). And it continues: (29:48) "why are you so mad Liz"; At (35:36) No sympathy. John Bolton's book (39:01) ; & Can we just get along (40:15).jj And a little bit of Mitt, & A Waxen Effigy goes to see the Pope; (44:09) Fauci does Georgetown, Uncle Anthony; etc.

Please could you mention the American POWS in Japan? My Marine Corps father was a slave in the copper mines of Mitsubishi, survived but was destroyed by PTSD (he weighed 90 lbs when he was rescued, had TB, and shrapnel in his legs). He was given no reparations and history seems to forget the viciousness of the Japanese.
@rosaoddin433813 күн бұрын
Amen, same experienced by my Marine uncle, POW from fall of Bataan, in Camp O’Donnell in Philippines (horrendous), shipped to Japan, enslaved in the mines there, only saved when the big bomb fell on Nagasaki. After six months in hospital, came home also less than 100 pounds. Those terrible bombs were necessary in Japan. Even the smallest children were being trained to kill the Americans in case of invasion. The bloodbath would have been unimaginable if the bombs had not been employed, tragic but true. Politics has dictated that Japanese ww2 crimes are seldom spoken of.
