I related so much to that minh story. My little brother also had a rivalry, but with bot RAAM. One time RAAM ran into a corner and my brother cautiously camped that corner, waiting for RAAM to come out. He was too scared to go in. It was such a long wait, my brother questioned if he was still there. As soon as my brother dropped his guard. . . BAM! RAAM popped out to instagib him. Like perfect sentient awareness. Another time my brother headshoted RAAM with a torque bow across the river on the map, well river I think. It did the blood effect on our screens from across map. So it was raining blood essentially. Real freaky, it was like he slayed a god.

I'm a Warhammer 40k hobbyist and this video set my target for a hobby project for a space marine which was get the marine a mf chain-bayonet! i knew they existed from old photos id seen and 2 months later and some online orders id finally got a bunch of them and used one on a model. I can say that it came out really well and was so good it got featured on the Gamesworkshop hobby round-up! What I'm trying to say is thank you fact fiend for reminding me that just because something is insane and dangerous doesn't mean its not awesome as all hell! Keep being awesome guys!

Turok: evolution is a mediocre game with some of the most outlandish impossible weapons I've ever seen. 18 barrel triple minigun? Yup. Pistol that snap converts into a sniper rifle? You got it. Rocket launcher that has a secondary fire mode launching homing mini projectiles that dismember your enemies slowly? It also has a nuke launcher! We've got a 4 barreled pump action shotgun, black hole grenades, chain lighting plasma cannon, and a surprisingly useless gravity gun.

As an Infantryman, I'd NEVER want to use this rifle. The stock is too blocky to properly fit into your shoulder pocket, not that the medieval plate carriers they wear would even let you do that. The chainsaw attachment forces you to grip the rifle close to the mag well, giving you less control over the muzzle of the weapon. I do the like the redesign in Gears 4 though.

I have an archenemy like Minh, but it’s through all the Star Wars: Battlefront games from 2004-2017. I used to always play empire and one enemy I noticed who always killed me was named Nom Carver. You have no idea how loud I screamed when I got a kill in 2015 Battlefront and it read out Nom Carver. I like some of the wacky weapons in the just cause series. As far as Bot rivalries go, me and my sister always had a rivalry with Larry in CoD Bo1 and 2 (not sure if he appears in 3's multiplayer). In Bo1, even on the easiest difficulty setting, Larry was a god amongst men and the endorphin rush we both got when he got killed was intense. In Bo2, Larry was rather laughable on the easiest setting, but switch it up a couple of notches and he gained his old god status back God I love Larry

Oh, speaking of inventive weaponry, I loved Painkiller's arsenal in the game. You had less than 10 weapons in the game, but they all had two modes of attack that you could at times combine and it was amazing. For example: a shuriken machine gun (yes, a machine gun that shoots shurikens, folks) with a secondary attack of just shooting electricity. And you could combine that, to shoot electrically charged shurikens into your enemies, dealing damage to both them and the enemies near them. Also, a wooden stake launcher, that could also launch grenades. That game was fucking magical.

I don't remember where I read this or if its correct but if I remember right, the engine for the chainsaw is powered as one shoots the Lancer. There was a little blue circle on the side of the rifle that would spin with every shot and I can't recall if it was the heat, friction, or kinetic energy from every shot that charges the battery for the chainsaw engine making it self sustaining on the battlefield.

Marcus got ambushed in a store, saving civies, his gun jammed. The mk1 lancer has a bayonette. It snapped off in the thick hide of a locust. Got tackled to the floor, pulled his knife and started stabbing at the back of the neck, Tai got a chainsaw sliced the locust up. Marcus' dad was a weapons enginner so marcus proposed this idea to his dad as many other Gears had complained about the bayonettes breaking. That is the story of how the Mk2 Lancer was formulated.
