The Jews are not 5000 yrs old. And if you date Abraham to 1800BC you still don't have a Jew. Jews had Judea, in the South, Israel was in the North. Jews now claim to be Israeli and are Jews, somehow they are all the tribes and the land! Jews had control of Judea for roughly 500yrs, went into captivity, came back, lost it again. Total time in control around 900 yrs.
