The new Doogee V20S Rugged Phone gets a shakedown and a look at all the features. This is my take, and personal opinion on the phone after a couple of weeks. What does it have in common with a land Rover? Well, although it can take a knock, just like the Defender, it is no longer bargain basement inside. The V20S is full IP68, IP69K and Mil-STD 810H, which means water, shock and dustproof (and a whole lot more).
Besides the ruggedised features you expect from a phone like this, it also has some kickass features:

I had Doogee S98 which was awesome however after 1,5 year I found downside for me. I use earphone plugs which are connected through type C charging socket. this socket can be damadged by instantly using it for both function charging and earphone plugs. this happened to me. After searching other doogee model I found this V20S with 3,5 mm jack ( according to doogee spec). Now you assures me there is no 3,5 mm jack. At least I know I will not buy it only for that reason.

I had a doogee i found the speakers crap and it would drop out of Bluetooth when linked to car stereo, its heavy lastly after 12 months it would regularly freeze. But it is tough

@@ASimplyFabLife You can earphone that can be plugged in via the type-c port. I personally prefer a 3.5mm port but you have a wired option for the antenna.
