The landlord sold my loft... A chaotic moving vlog

I'm a new subscriber of your's. I have to admit, that I was heartbroken when I watched this video. I had just watched the one where you got the loft. You had slept on a blanket on the floor the first night, hoping to get a bed. Then the IKEA trip; picking everything out; lugging it back home; setting everything up. I could tell you really loved this place. I was just assuming you'd be there for a couple of years at least, and then this video came on that you had to move, and my heart sunk to the floor. The "crying in the taxi" just really broke my heart. I'm so sorry for this happening to you. On a positive note, your videos are beautifully made and you capture real life, nothing fake or phony. My best to you, for a new place, happiness, and luck.

quick tip for storage in gerneral that also helps with moving. If you hardly ever use bulky but soft things like the duvet, get a vacuumsealable bag. Takes of no more than half the space it will with out a contianer. And therefore saves a ton of space in the suitcase and closet.

It's so funny because the first video I watched from your channel was your moving-in vlog. This is my second one. 🥺... I'm a little sad! Awwww, I just watched the vid a few days ago where you moved into this place. It’s a bummer to have to leave a place you’ve grown attached to, though you face it with a good attitude for the future. And I actually did laugh out loud when you tossed the first bundle “overboard” (as we call it - we have a similar flight of stairs with a ledge that overlooks downstairs). You remind me so much of my boy (he’s a teenager) with the way you do things, and it grabs at my ♥️. I still have to catch up to your newer vids, so looking forward to it!

This vídeo just has so many layers 😂 I was genuinely anxious seeing the mess you put yourself into: even if you didn’t book a moving truck, you still had one more day to move, why didn’t you book it for the next day then? You must’ve spent an insane amount of money in taxi rides plus all the burden. I feel for you: there are not many things in an adult life worse than moving. However, it really got pretty emotional by the end, and now I’m hoping for the next house video and rooting that it’ll become home too in no time. I’m hoping that you can carry this feeling of self-growth inside you regardless of where you live. Congratulations on the great learning I’m sure you had with this hellish moving experience and good luck onward ❤

Yes for real, I should have just booked a moving truck. Idk what I was thinking, it was not smart🤣😂 if I booked a truck it wouldn't have been a big deal at all. The taxis were still probably cheaper than renting a truck, but definitely not worth the hassle

I’m usually a silent viewer but somehow i just had to leave a comment and sub because i can relate on so many levels. Thank you for reminding me about how blissful it can be living alone and trying to do things on your own.. especially overseas when things can get pretty overwhelming (i’m an expat and i’m assuming you are not from Korea.😅) Please correct me if i’m wrong. There are times i question my decision but this video is the affirmation i’ve been waiting for that i made the right choice. After 7 years of living with my workmates, i’ve been longing to live alone. Just an introvert who needs solitude. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I recently moved out almost all on my own. I was only able to check 1 studio, signed the lease, moved in during Christmas eve, shopped for the new place and left my job at the end of the year.. all within a week span. 😂 Heck, it’s one helluva ride but it was all worth it. Thank you for doing these videos. Cheers to the journey!

Shoulda got one of those vaccum seal bags for the duvet and whatnot! You can get ones with hand pumps that remove the air. Can’t wait to see where you land next.

Fast forward to the end of this year, i left that country (left my career, sold most of the stuffs i owned and said my goodbyes to my closest friends for almost 8 years) packed my bags and moved to England 😅 Starting anew again for the new year.
