Chudleigh is where I learnt to climb outside and Dartmoor is what made a me a climber. What a special place. So important weather climbing, bouldering running what ever it may be. In Devon we are so lucky.

What a silly surname 😉 Great video, thank you. I ran North to South across Dartmoor last Autumn and it left an impression on me. Wonderful, valuable place.

Pedant correction. Dartmoor has been ‘occupied’ since at least the Mesolithic not Bronze Age. It arguably would also have seen small numbers of ‘modern humans’ through the Palaeolithic but there is a paucity of archeology to evidence this. If you want to see some great Neolithic archeology then take a trip to visit the Neolithic Tor Enclosure on White Tor (for context this predates the Bronze Age).

You're absolutely right, and I've run through the Neolithic enclosure on White Tor many times! Should have said since 'before' the Bronze Age. Thanks for the extra info 👍
