I can appreciate all the work put into this. Definitely a one of a kind piece. The little slats on the top take away from the beauty of it.

I think it looks like mahogany, but I'm not a wood expert. It is Beautiful❤! It might be teakwood but I think that is darker and harder wood, making it harder to work with.

I've asked before. I would appreciate the formula for this wood glue. Ingenious project. I like the way you rounded over the ends of the support stretchers. Have you considered using a sand blaster with glass pean as a final process after removing bark? I find that I can get an incredible smooth syrvuce with a sheen. The wood you used here is beautiful, what is it?

Yes, I thought rough cutoffs from the same piece of trunk would have been a better choice! The one's used look like they're oak or pine, from a lumber store. The main piece looks like mahogany! A piece of glass or epoxy would also have looked better than the fillers used. Other than that it looks great❤!!!

Soo nice! But... how many woodworms are still living and eating inside it?🤔
Woodworm do not like warmth, that is why all woodworm died out in houses, houses got warmer, central heating and gas fires killed them off. In certain parts of England they deliberately put timbers down in woodland areas where they let them thrive.
